Wasn't there some old Disson show called "Sarah Hughes and Friends"? Anyone happened to have that show on tape or on the computer, or know when a re-broadcast is coming on?

Thanks for the pics.

I was hoping someone had a video as well (just want to see what the show consisted of)

If I recall correctly, the show was not very good. A lot of Hip Hop music, which I don't mind. I just remember watching it and thinking blech.

Say,anyone happen to know if Sarah is copyrighted and alone herself with that type of show as a skater in her family from when she was skating? Or now that she's retired, can we expect an Emily Hughes and Friends sometime in the future?

Or maybe Sarah/Emily and friends. Or more approproppritely......The Hughes Kids and Friends. LOL. I'd love to see Emily try her hand at that.

I'm pretty sure that Sarah and Friends was part of her contract with Disson Skating, which manages SOI.

I liked the cast to the show, but I am definitely not into Ashanti music. I love Caryn Kadavy, but I can't imagine her skating to Ashanti. OTOH, several SOI cast members got to perform some of their previous seasons SOI numbers in that show - for example - Kyoko and John - "Look at Little Sister," and "Bed of Roses," Elena & Anton - "If I Could" & "Kalinka," Todd - "Let Me Entertain You," and "Il Mirto e La Rosa," so I keep coming back to those particular performances when I watch this show. I especially appreciate seeing these particular numbers  because SOI A&E broadcasts in (almost) their entirety is no longer happening. Thank goodness not all of the music in the show was Ashanti or hip hop!

Thanks for the video link...I was mainly looking for Sarah performances, though...how many did she do during the show?

Based on the pictures, it looks like she skated to 2 single programs "My Immortal" and "La Tortura," and of course she participated in the group numbers (opening "Only U", finale "Fever" , and "Happy").

THIS photo is interesting. People always think of Sarah Hughes as being unusually tall for a skater, but Shae-Lynn Bourne and Caryn Kadavy are clearly an inch or two taller.
Funny, all I see is Alexei.
