Yes, I am SOOOOO excited to see the interview! Shoma + Dai is like a dream come true (for Shoma....... and for me!).
 
Daisuke comments on Shoma practicing 7 days a week and tells him about training less and concentrating at the competition. If you can do you best without training much, it's better. That's what Morozov told him and wouldn't let him train so much even when he wanted to.

-Then Daisuke says, you should probably consult your coaches before trying anything!

They also talk about what strategy Shoma has for beating Hanyu one day.

Thanks so much for your translation. I enjoyed their interaction, even though I only understood maybe 4 words!!! One question for you, is it "normal" to bow so much? It almost seemed like they were trying to outdo each other! :-) ( Pardon my lack of knowledge on Japanese culture)

Oh yes, it's normal to bow like this. In greeting, in parting, as an acknowledgment, as a compliment as an apology. The depth of the bow is shows the formality or profoundness of the occasion. More respect or formality, the deeper the bow. And since Daisuke and Shoma are both very self-deprecating people they bow a lot.

Good advice!
I've recently come across an interview with Maia Plisetskaia where she revealed the secret of her longevity. She said she always was lazy and trained as little as it was possible. Thanks to less vigorous training regime her joints were not as worn out as of other ballet dancers who would quit at about 35, and Maia continued to perform well into her 70s
 
This friendship/rivalry seems like it's been going on forever but it's only just starting in the senior world. Good luck to the both of them!

This will be an inspiring rivalry. And Shoma is doing SO much better in his interviews. He used to look like he was going to faint! Can't wait to see him in Boston. Wonder when the team leaves...Go Shoma!!!!
 
This Shoma-Boyang thing could be the bomb-dot-com in a couple years if they both stick around a while. :yes2:

Yeah. To me, he seems to feel that yuzu is in different generation although yuzu is older than him by only 2 years. But not for Boyang. He really feels Boyang close to him and Boyang’s　presence and success have really inspired him. His face at the interview seems to tell that. Really good relationship. Go! Both young men!

Totally agree! His facial expressions, his voice…It feels like something’s happed inside him. Cant wait to see him at Boston!
