Shoma's new Colantotte necklace is now released for purchase. The color is pretty, I think this is the first time I'm seriously tempted to buy because I personally like jewelry in aquamarine or related colors. It's just so expensive

There are two stones embedded in the necklace, which represents Shoma's World titles. The previous necklace has only one stone (because he only won once back then). The two stones are colored blue and silver for his free skate costumes when he won Worlds- Blue Bolero in 2022 and Silver Aria/Tormenta in 2023.

I had fun catching up with some of the translations of Shoma's IG live. He's so funny

Some bits and pieces of the Instagram Live. Maybe someone will eventually post a complete translation. (oops -- sorry if this repeats some of what rabidline posted).

--He stays up very late and then has a hard time getting up in the morning.

--He’s not working on the 4Lz. He often got an edge call on the lutz.

--He isn’t into skin care.

--He doesn’t do off-ice muscle / weight training.

--He didn’t remember that Time After Time was one of his programs!!!!

--He eats a lot of icecream.

--He talks about opportunities to bring back old programs and mentioned Ladies in Lavender (and some of us died on the spot ) He is more interested in new programs.

--He is thinking of starting to post on his You Tube channel again. (Please Sho, do it!)

--Things are going well with his new boots.

--He didn’t give too many details, but it sounded like he worked with Stephane in Japan.

--They try to get him to say something in English and he won’t do it. He says he doesn’t speak English. (Come on Sho, we know you do!!!!)

--He doesn’t appear to have any interest in taking up Ice Dance.

Considering Stephane visited Japan for a few days recently to watch Shoma practice, I'm sure this is just one of his sense of humor. He is so witty, I keep laughing when I read all the translations this morning. I wish I understand Japanese because Shoma just seem to have a lot of fun.

Also- he likes ice cream but particularly PINO ice cream. The sushi restaurants in my city actually have them and sell them as desserts hahah.

Then I looked at the calendar and saw today is Feb. 21, and March 21 is the short. He looks kinda thin to me, so he's probably practicing like a maniac and eating too much Lawson food.

And what is pino? Never heard of it, and my first thought was pineapple. It's a bowling pin in Spanish, which I doubt is what he's eating.

Pino is chocolate covered vanilla ice cream, and they are small, bite-sized so it's easy to eat. It's delicious.

I do think it's because we haven't seen him compete in a while, and we don't get the usual training updates from the puppy channel. Shoma actually have more ice shows in this period compared to last year! We'll see him this week at Prince Ice World Shiga (and of course we have seen him last month at Prince Ice World Tokyo).

He looks trained. Or at least he looks like he's just finished practicing. I don't think he looks thin- just trained.

I'm pretty sure he'll practice a few times before then! Honestly, I feel like I have forgotten what it feels like to be a Shoma fan until recently! Now I'm getting pumped for Worlds and working on some cool fan projects!

Of course, I know I have seen it on YouTube (and consider it to be one of my favorite Shoma programs), but to see it for real would be something else!

He doesn't look that thin, imo. I think that might be an effect of him hunching over to look into a phone camera. I'm sure he's fine the way he is and has consulted with those around him about appropriate levels of diet and exercise. Although I'm sure he wouldn't mind more ice cream in his life!

He had 2 falls on 3A and 4T, and he said to a fan who asked that he skated the FS because it's close to Worlds.
