Yuhana Yokoi landed 3A in a practice (around 2:12)

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4vvg2d_中部フィギュア-松田-横井選手_sport

Yuhana was under such a pressure as she is the only one skater who could not attend JGPS this season among JSF certified junior ladies. Patience, Yuhana. There are many competitions left where you can show your ability. I hope she will be able to acquire something other than strong expression.

And, Japan's ultimate weapon comes. Sara Honda.

Taichi, Marin, and Miyu: Sara may be the most talented among us (Honda brother and sisters).

Marin: I will definitely retire before Sara comes up to the senior category

Thank you for the information! I reposted this in Yuhana's fan thread

Sorry, it’s not about skating but about skaters. It’s for fun :)

As a Mao and Yuzuru fan, I noticed that there are some funny similarities in their CMs.

For example, Mao’s ECC came first and then we have had Yuzuru’s Love in action.

Mao’s advertising poster says, “I will do, when I have to decide whether I do or not, it’s my rule.

Then Yuzuru’s one says “ I will go, I will do. by Yuzuru Hanyu

When I saw Yuzuru as the 3 colored Kikiyu price, I just recalled Mao as the 3 colored Stona princess. It’s awesome

They both have been in Futon CMs and ofc, we have the airline companies JAL and ANA as their sponsor company or so already.

Aside from the xylitol as we know, I like to see Yuzuru in the another xylitol costume which was the one for the clear files
(though it looks like Yuzuru’s ballade no.1 in different colored version.) and Mao in the crunky gold dress
. They look cool

Seems like Yuzu is somehow tracing Mao’s path. I know that that’s coincidences, interesting coincidences but I was amused by them. What’s next. :party2: :dance3:

On another note.

And this image popped up in my head when I saw the latest Nishikawa and Nepia advertisements

I hope everything will go all right with them (and every skater) this season. Thank you.

Bonus : ①Yuzuru and Tatsuki ②Yuzuru Rangers ③whoa

Has anyone seen Takeru Kataise skate? Any video/documentary featuring him? Seeing his results from recent Kinki Regional and Novice National competitions has made me curious.

Kinki Regional, Novice A Boys: 1st 103.52
http://www.jsfresults.com/National/2016-2017/fs_j/block5/data0505.pdf

Novice National, Novice A Boys: 2nd 95.84 (1st Shun Sato, 3rd Haruya Sasaki) (still waiting on protocols)
http://www.jsfresults.com/non_respo...ional/2016-2017/fs_j/nationalnovice/index.htm

You might have already seen it but I just found this article on him from Kinki Regional. He has the same coach as Kaori Sakamoto and Mai Mihara.
http://news.walkerplus.com/article/90473/

Also found out that the boy on Mai Asada's twitter video with a pink shirt putting his skate guards on at 0:20 is him.

It's from THE ICE in Osaka so there might be a digest of him skating somewhere. The off season seems like it was such a long time ago, I can't remember which shows were broadcasted on which channels or if I watched them all :scratch2:

From Moa's twitter.

I thought Moa Iwano had this one easily but she was 2nd with Rion Sumiyoshi taking 1st place.
Akari Matsuoka was 3rd. She has the same coach as Wakaba and she also has a 3Fe.

Does anyone know if Moa is able to do a 3-3T? I hope she doesn’t suffer like Yuna Aoki is with the 3-3Lo when she turns junior because she's already having ur problems.

News clip of Miyu & Sara Honda and Nobu’s nephew Nobuyoshi Oda. Nobuyoshi says his favorite skater is Daisuke Takahashi.
Poor Nobu. His son admires Yuzuru and his nephew admires Daisuke

Miyu Honda and Rion Sumiyoshi (the winner)

ETA: News clip about Shun Sato and Sara Honda for Novice B. Shun has won 4 years in a row now.

Japan has a lot of rising talents but I think Kihara has the most potential. I'm not just talking about her 3A. Her style in her SP reminds me a little of young Lu Chen. Marin is definitely more polished in her presentation but I think Kihara can close that gap in a few years.
