Congratulations to YunaS for winning her first JGP title. Who would have thought!? Now I want to see all 10 of her 3-3s!
Aww, too bad Marin's FS didn't go well, but at least it wasn't messy. I hope she wasn't distracted by the tights? peeling off one of her boots. I'm probably in the minority but I like her FS and her new red dress suits the program too. And Sota throwing a toy on the rink after her skate was so sweet.

Congratulations Yuna and Marin on your gold and silver :party2:

Congratulations to Yuna and Marin !

Sota and Mitsuki are throwing Oraf dolls

And after throwing, Sota’s little waving to Marin then she waving back to him, was the one cute moment. ;)

We can see Sota in the audience seat so that was probably Mitsuki. Anyway I like to see these good relations between them.

i guess noone saw Yuna coming, congratulations to her for her 1st gold! i didnt like the program or the music but she is joy to watch, and she looks just like Satoko:laugh:
kinda sad about Marin, is there any news about injury? i think i saw sth was on her hips during 6min warmup, but she sometimes pops jumps so it wasnt unusual i guess, i hope she can win her next event (or atleast silver medal!) and go to JGPF!! :cheer:

Thanks for all the videos; Friends on Ice looked great, and I can't wait to see Satoko and Mao going head to head in the coming season!

thank you for the news! happy about all participants, i guess JSF decided to give chance to a skater with no GP assignment  no news about pairs? they are probably waiting to see their progress

You mean at NHK Trophy? Japan doesn't have a TBD spot at NHK this year. JSF probably thought that none of the teams will be ready by then.
Takahashi/Zaboev will be skating at Carnival on Ice next month so they might be more ready than the others.

Haruka Imai apparently will participate in SC Autumn Classic. Good luck!

Good to see that Wakaba will be competing at regionals when she doesn't have to. She's such a competitor!
And my lovely headcase Yuka will be there too. Yes, enter as many competitions as possible to get those pops out of the way :hopelessness:

79 entries at Kinki
76 entries at Kanto
71 entries at Tokyo
For Jr Ladies category

I thought there'd be more junior ladies at Chubu because of the number of top skaters training in Nagoya but there are only 48.
I would hate to be on the judging/technical panels for 70+ skaters though. How do they all cope?
I just looked up last year's schedule and it takes about 9 hours (including 15min x 4 zamboni times in between) for Ladies' SP from start to finish :drama:
