Kind of interesting. SKATING magazine is going to cover a bit of its 100 year history every month . The events that shaped it. This month, they talked about WWII. Here is a part of what they said. No Joy about finding anything else on Windfield Hird. I keep thinking he must be in the service records somewhere and if they brought his body home....or if he is in one of the beautiful Overseas Cemetaries.
