IMHO these On Demand programs (except the Gala Exhibitions) can and should be posted immediately following the conclusion of the Competition on Sunday night! :banging: :rolleye:

I wonder if the Novice and Junior competitions will be availabele later that night, for example on Monday, I work during the day so I am going to miss most of the competition so i am wondering if they post the competition as they finish or the end of the day?

You don't want to miss Mirai and Adam.

Well, I am just hoping that they have on-demand coverage right then so we are not waiting till the end of Nationals. i can understand the Senior Competitions having on-demand coverage after nationals because they will be aired on NBC.

Does anyone know how that 'not to menton' Network gets its feed to show skating? Do they have their own camera crew? or do they buy it from other camera crews like the Canadians, Russians or Japanese? And who would they buy if from for a US event? Think of the Sectionals!

I think they have their own crew. At least at Mids they seemed to have one. In fact one whose platform fell over! During one warm-up group the whole thing, camera, cameraman and wooden platform just toppled backwards. Nobody was hurt.

I wish you could buy this by event on the "that which shall reamin unnamed network" rather than paying for a whole subscription. Buy just the junior ladies short programs for example. I can't watch events live becasue of timing so everything I see would have to be On-Demand. Honestly, even when I had a free pass I only watched two or three things because I just don't have the time to sit and watch that much and it is kind of a hassle compared to taped tv coverage. I can't sit on my couch and watch this. The screen is soooo small, the sound isn't great and the feed isn't always the best. I can't easily find skaters I am looking for. I know it won't be worth the $30 for me even for a year. There is only one nat event I really feel compelled enough to watch to pay for (I'd watch other things quite happily for a lesser fee or for free when I get a couple of stolen moments but those are very rare and fleeting) but not $30 worth.:ohwell:

That really is a problem. Unless you can bare not very talented skaters at the Sectionals, it could be a drag. However I would say half are worth watching and the podium group usually give one something to think about. I was very much impressed with Hacker in the Sr. Ladies.

I still think it is worth $30., but I am VERY unhappy that they aren't live streaming the mens and ladies SP. Sure they'll be available eventually-- after the competition is over. Whatev... I may be wrong ... but I expected the SP's to be part of the package.

Hmmm - I'm surprised. I thought they would. Could it be because they don't know what NBC wil be going to be highlighting during the Sat. afternoon (4-6) time period?

That not to mention network advertise as everything being shown live at least from my understanding and if it not and won't be shown till later next week I took the whole week off work for nothing and won't be worth the $30. also I won't sign up for it next time. :disapp:

I'm irritated because the way it sounded on the USFSA website was that the first three days would be able to be viewed by subscription customers but the rest would be streamed live for free. But I tried to view the Senior Compulsory Dance just now and was told I needed to pay the $30.

I'm just really disappointed with the coverage so far.
