Skating with the Stars -participants

I like that it is judges-only (no viewer voting), though I'm not sure it won't diminish viewership. I'm not sure how it will all work, but I'll certainly watch.
 
How could anyone not look at this. I've already picked the winner: Gibson (with Kurt Browning). He'l make her look good.

Dorothy is a purest and I think her judging will not go over with the passion lovers.

Well, I'm ahead of myself. Let's see.

Coulier and Kerrigan both have the hockey thing going on.

Eisler and Swanson could be interesting, maybe some lifts?

no it's in pre-production now (according to the article) and will air later in teh season


the fall tv season doesn't start for another week at least!
 
My money's on either Coulier/Kerrigan or Browning/Gibson It will be entertaining one way or the otherrrr! :clap:
 
I'm just visualizing Todd Sand sitting in the audience, laughing his butt off while watching his wife participate in what will certainly be an exercise in futility. At some point in the middle of the proceedings, she'll probably start yelling "What You Talkin' About, Willis!?" :biggrin:​
 
I will definitely watch - provided we receive the show here in Lotus land. We don't always get the US of A tv line-up.

This should be interesting!!

Hmm...no audience participation? I'm not sure that's a good thing for success of this show ratings-wise (but hey, you have shows like Survivor and The Apprentice, so who knows?). At least for the type of show this is, anyway. However, on the flip side it MIGHT just be a little more fair and balanced (but remember what I say about judges? :biggrin: )
 
As for watching the show- hmm, I don't know. I don't really like pairs or dance so I may have to pass on this one. :sheesh:

Ok, about the show glad I haven't missed any of it. Who did the picking of the actors, Todd Bridges give us a break what was Fox hard up on finding actor who wanted to perticapate? Jenni deserves a better partner. I agree with Piel :disagree: :scratch:
 
Today's local newspaper suggests these pairings for future shows: Tara Lipinski and Mr. T., Michelle Kwan and Terry Bradshaw (Bradshaw was married to Jojo Starbuck at one time), and Tonya Harding and Dennis Rodman (the ba-a-a-d team, LOL.)

My money's on Swanson and Eisler.

Are you joking about Tonya??? I wouldn't think she could be affiliated with skating in any way, especially if Scott were in charge. Can she???

Yeah, the paper was kidding -- just putting together names to get a silly pairing.
 
None of the non-skating stars are beginner skaters. Part of the requirement was to have enough skating ability to be teachable - a bit more than just being able to get around the rink without falling.

Why not have Kristi skate with her husband Bret? It would be fun to see a live 'Cutting Edge' - rough hockey players having to skate with toe picks.
