Great strides by Sofiya M and a well-deserved finish.

Also, super performances by Liza B. Surely she should have her fan page resuscitated by now??? She is the same age as the Three Sofiyas. (And I do remember Liza having a fan page before they were hidden.)

Sofiya is looking accomplished and comfortable with herself. She has always had a calm demeanour.

In my opinion, Sergei D was making great strides. He seems to have a grounding effect on the students who are with him or migrate to him, like Anna ( 😢😢😢 ) Vika, Sofiya, Sofiya, Ksenia Ts.

Akthough Plushchenko may serve her well, it is w a a a y too soon for AoP to claim any credit, as with others who have recently moved there.

Didn't you forget something on her resume? She is the current Russian Junior Nationals 2021 Bronze Medal.

I was looking on the Russian Figure Skating board and came across this interview with Sofia

Lots of interesting info here, apparently she's working on a quad toe!

She also has dogs (seems to be a requirement to figure skate in Russia  )

She's hoping for international competitions next season so fingers crossed!

Good luck to Sofia!

Skating last must be quite a nervewracking experience for her, but wishing her the best.

She's been performing so very well, I'm really happy for her! She's been a favorite of mine in novices for ages, always standing out with her performing ability but she never got especially high scores. This past year that's been changing a bit so that's something I'm happy about, and of course her JGP debut's gone far better than I'd have imagined just a couple of years ago, when it was unknown whether she even would make the team.

Now if only she could get some programs that I like as much as some of her past ones.
