she also says "Um" and "Yah" a lot But some of her post ice interviews she does appear to be somewhere else in thought. I don't mind though, I have a feeling I would be the same way. One thing is for sure I personally have not gotten the impression she comes across "Phony" to me anyway.
I have to go with Yu-Na in both the long & short. Her turns in both directions are impressive. She looks equally comfortable going clockwise and counter clockwise.
Thanks so much for posting these.
I also liked Yu-Na's step sequences. She did great jobs in both. Her step sequence was one of the most memorable scenes in her SP, next to the great 3F-3T (The combo really had great height and flow. It was really amazing).
Personally, I liked the LP step sequence better, perhaps because I liked the music better; it was more gentle, smooth, and beautiful. In her LP step sequence, it didn't even look as if she was doing "required elements." She flows so naturally with the music and the way she excutes the steps was so effortless that it just looks like she was dancing to the music, rather than inserting steps to fill in the space.
Looking back at performances from before this past season, Kimmie has really NEVER landed a true Triple/Triple combination. That problem didn't start recently. Her technique on the Toeloop in general is very flawed...she drastically pre-rotates Double Toeloops too. This is a major problem which needs to be fixed. She jumps around instead of up; the toepick is the problem - it is left in the ice far too long before lifting off (sometimes an entire revolution).
