Great article. He is such an impressive competitor. So serious, hard-working, and not full of himself at all. He uses difficulties to push himself to the next level. A class act. I wonder what he'll come up with next!
What I love most about skating is to draw attention. Figure skating is the only sport where all spectators are watching just the one person on the ice.
Haha! So honest! He is narcissistic in a good way, i.e., pays genuine respect to others as well. Besides, I think that "enjoying attention" is one of the most important qualities for figure skaters.
I also find interesting that he adored ice-dancing as a child. I bet very few kids, esp. boys, appreciate ice-dancing at young ages.
