added and oops...Jo Phan is also 180cms
and detail but important... unless they got married in the last few weeks, Brooke is not a Mimar but a McIntosh![]()
addedFinland's Petra Lahti, junior, women, 15, skated in JGP Osaka this season, is at least 165 cm. Maybe taller.

addedI nominate one of my absolute favourite tall boys, Andrei Anisimov. His ISU bio has him at 184 cm in 2021, but he's definitely gotten taller since then. I'd estimate him around 188-190 cm now, but no way to know for sure.

I forgot to mention, he's skating singlesadded

I have to go lower cause 183 would take out Bruno Massot. Artur Dmitriev, & Lloyd Eisler who all have a wow factor of scary tall. For pairs gals: Minerva Fabienne Hase - She's 167 cm
Personally, I'd put the cut-off for tall women in pairs at 163/164-ish? I feel like there are too many gals in the 158 - 162 cm range for anything below that to be tall.
For the pairs men, definitely over 180 cm, possibly even over 185 cm, just because pairs men tend to be on the taller side.![]()

Oh that is interesting, the name sounded very Norwegian, and after a quick Google search I found out indeed that she is Norwegian, and was competing at JGP in 2016. Never heard of her before, even though I started watching figure skating in 2014Ah, so I remembered this another site thread, and even though this is now one year old, includes all ages (i.e. also still-growing juniors who are more likely to be exceedingly short), plus is solely based on ISU bios that are often not accurate (as infrequently updated), maybe the average heights are still interesting for everyone here:
- Average height of female pair skaters: 155.9 cm
- Average height of male pair skaters: 180.3 cm
- Average height of female skaters excluding pairs: 162.3
- Average height of male skaters excluding pairs: 176.5
Also, notable entries from that thread:
- Madeleine LIDHOLM TORGERSEN (Singles): 180 cm
- Viktoria BORZENKOVA (Pairs woman): 168 cm
- Andrei CHUVILAEV (Pairs man): 200 cm
I assume both of the women's height averages are somewhat lowered by the comparatively young age women start competing internationally compared to many men, but even then the trend is quite clear:
Pairs women < non-pairs women < non-pairs men < pairs men
