Well they were probably full of doubts and kind of afraid that it would happem again in Sochi. So your theory sounds plausible. She might have been upset because Maxim was upset.
And it was probably not good for them that S/S withdrew due to her "illness"

I think it had something to do with that Julia/Adelina photo he posted and his comment. He deleted it meantime. But yeah, he's so moody. Thankfully Tanya is such a calm person, because he needs someone like her near him.

Ksenia and Fedor did a shoot with Sergei too and when they stand next to eachother they look like they were photoshopped into one picture.
