Gee, KinoriH, I think you're right! The angle of the camera was different on my recording. It's quite clear. But I see it too on your reference. it's so staggeringly passionate. Even my husband thinks they are "stars" -- a description I hadn't quite thought of. (He watches skating with me sometimes -- to please me because he knows I love it. But he quickly gets bored and walks out of the room.) And my sister (you see I'm blabbing about V/T to everyone who will listen...) considers Maxim a "heart-throb." She told me she too gasped when she saw him -- not so many male skaters are as good-looking as he is. Of course, she's right. I could also say, to use a slang word, he is a "hunk." In fact, if I were a casting agent, I would already have flown to Sochi to meet with him.

Hi Nessie! Welcome! I totally resonates what you said..... Ever since I hooked up with V/T couple, I try to share my passion and love for them with others (in your words, babbling about them), but it seems that not many people interested in figure skating.....hwell:

That's why I'm thankful and excited to have this forum to share my love for Max and Tati!!! And Nessie, I love the way you described your first impressions about them during their Olympic programs! It's good to see how others viewed about our favourite couple and they able to articulate it well!!!

I know most of us already seen their 2013 World Championship, but this video (although it's in Korean, and I don't understand as well; but it's HD) has an extra seconds that shows Max gave Tati a forehead kiss at the end after kiss and cry around 9.32..... Just like it!

No pasted smiles (some of the ice dancers are over the top when they keep smiling for their entire program.) I hadn't seen this particular video but thanks for posting it. And Tatis so cute when she falls.
I checked airfares to Seoul just now. I'd join the fan from Brazil who is already thinking about seeing V/T in Seoul. If I think I can endure the long flight, I might even go. V/T are certainly worth the effort. Maybe we can organize a fan meeting like the Japanese fans!

Oh, Yuna Kim's planned event? No, I'm sorry. I have heard about that but don't really know when that is scheduled. I was thinking of the 2018 Olympics. And of course, if V/T don't continue their career until 2018, the whole question is moot. I wonder what they should do. What if they lost their "edge" and had a bad skate in 2018 Olympics? I would hate to see them fall from grace. Will they still have that fire, the same will to win in 2018?

Welcome, Nessie! All That Skate will be broadcast in Korea, so hopefully some videos will surface. I agree with everything you've posted so far!

I too, had the somewhat crazy thought of trying to go to Korea (for ATS) as I sadly missed the Art on Ice boat , but the timing didn't work out. And from what I hear, something like 240,000 tickets sold out in under 30 minutes, which is crazy to me. I'm not sure how an ice show would work out in person with stadium seating!

The only thing I wondered about Korea (besides the ticket issue) is how one would get around without being able to speak or understand Korean... Obviously the Olympics would probably be a different situation.
