He does that at least once in almost every victory ceremony ;)

Does anybody know if Bruno speaks German/Russian? cause as far as I know Aliona's English isn't the best. Makes me wonder how they're going to communicate. :eek:

Well, I hope for his sake that this is not how their partnership is going to be of course one can never be sure with her, and I really doubt that they'll treat him better than Robin. He's just something useful for her as well so she reaches her dream IMO

Nope, as far as I know he speaks only French and English. I wondered too how they do it, but apparently it works or at least they tell themselves that it'll work

Oh and their fans get bigheaded as well already. They say they look good enough to do the throw triple axl and a fourfold twist (does that even exist? :confused:)

Well, I don't know, but even if it does exist, she needs to get over mental barrier, cause it seems that whenever she's in a competiton with V/T or even S/K she's all over the place. (watch S/S' COR 2013 SP. Her fall on the throw triple axel was ugly.)
So no matter what new throws/ lifts they might learn, her confidence is somwhow damaged since 2012, when S/S started to lose their momentum.

I hope for her that she'll be able to fix that, but while THEY are still working on their chemistry, V/T are willing to do anything to maintain their reputation, and S/K are growing stronger and stronger.

By all means, I wish her all the luck in the world, but honestly I think that they didn't do themselves any good by praising themselves so early on.
That results incredibly high expectations of their fans and as you say her confidence is probably not able to keep up with that.
Maybe that should've been a sign for her to stop or something.
All in all their scores didn't really improve over the last years.
V/T always broke their own records and at the SP for example S/S barely reached 80 points....

By the way the fan page of Bruno and Aliona is run by that girl on Instagram who said V/T copied S/S's photoshoot :laugh: :biggrin:

Did you notice that they call themselves "Team ABI" (Aliona, Bruno Ingo)? :frown: Was there ever "Team ARI"?

I'm really exited to see them too. But honestly Ex performances don't tell much about the skating except they put all their mighty big elements in there :biggrin:
And nope there was never such a team with Robin.
Heard he wants to coach now. Wish him all the best :)
 
That photo where she's the boss is all kinds of wrong. A smart woman knows how to dominate a man without using photos/positions like that, I just find it pathetic. My take is that Aliona has a huge problem with Tanya's success. Except the GPF 2013 Tanya and Max always won starting with 2012. Yeah, I know they lost the Worlds, but it was only by 0,11 points and everyone knew they were the ones who should have won. She was friends with Tanya until she started winning with Max. I don't know, but she doesn't seem like a good hearted person to me and she can't hide her feelings.

Eli, thank you for the video! We know that Maxim likes to reduce the space they're sitting on to the minimum :laugh:

I think that makes her kind of a bad competitor as well. One has to accept if he/she loses and not cut everything loose just because of that.
And I completely agree that V/T should've won the Worlds in 2012. The judges defnitely used the fall to lower their scores as much as possible and even then Tanya and Max didn't complain or bash anyone openly.
In contast to team S/S that never got tired to put out how they were treated unfair or were underscored or finding another excuse every time V/T won (goes mainly for Ingo and Aliona

haha I noticed the medal thing as well.. he was like "nope i don't want to hold up my unworthy silver medal." hahah
