I agree. I though the same when I saw her. No offense. She had to have some advantages if Maxim loved her back then.

Usually people don't end up with the people they started dating when they were 16 or 17... I mean people can change, especially in their early 20's. It's good they all seem friendly now. Perhaps Tanya and Max aren't as open about discussing their relationship out of sensitivity for their ex's.. and Stas who has to work with them on a regular basis.

He feels guilty because he left her for Tanya
... Maybe Tanya and Max started dating when they were free, but com'on, it's pretty obvious they fell in love before 2012 
I don't think the photos were old, just that more likely he gave her the dog later. Looking at her vk and facebook accounts it's pretty clear something (the split) happened in the summer of 2011.

I've read an interview where they were answering some questions of the fans, and they were asked which food they like most of all. Tanya said that she likes different baked cookies and cakes, and Maxim said that most of all he likes borshch that Tanya cooks.
