No, I don't think that it's the text of the tattoo - it's rather the description of the photo. "A human at work and a human enduring it"

Since we had discussions on the Bazarova/Larionov split I just want to link to a new article that says that Larionov is going to skate with Estonian skater Natalia Zabijako. According to the article Bazarova also has arranged with a new partner and coach but everything is not set yet.

Unfortunately it is also confirmed that Ilinykh/Katsalapov is switching partners with Sinitsina/Zhiganshin. I/Z will continue their training in Moscow Under Elena Kostarova and Svetlana Alekseyeva while S/K will train for Morozov (Nikolaj) who is ending his coaching activities in Russia and move to the US. Where S/K will train is not clear yet.

Somewhat I doubt it is a smart idea to give Yuri an even younger partner than Vera. She won't be skating for long with him. Probably not only 'cause of his age.

They say Elena and Morozov broke-up and that's why the pair also split, but it might be just rumors. I'm glad that Tanya and Stas were very professional and things ended up well in the Volosozhar-Trankov team, especially seeing all this super drama around the skating world lately.

This surprise me too, maybe they are not dating now and Elena doesn´t want to continue training with Morozov

As far as I know they've only skated clean twice and that was the Olympics (as always correct me if I'm wrong)
Their Addams Family routine was used a second year this season so it took them two years to make that a good one....
I just ask 'cause some things I read were about them running V/T up and that they won't stand a chance the next years.

P.S. I really want V/T to be the first pair to defemd their title

Thanks to danya for explaining to me about the Volosozhar-bird!

They were asked if they are superstitious, and Tanya admitted that she is a bit, and that she thinks any athelete is more or less superstitious, and Maxim added that this is not exactly superstitious beliefs, but more like rituals, for example, when he puts on skates, he begins to do it on one and the same foot first, steps on ice with one and the same foot first etc.

They said something similar about this in the 2013 fan meeting in Japan. I think (because I couldn't quite hear) the Japanese fan asked them about something they always do before their routines (I'm guessing she was asking about how they always hold hands and stare into each other's eyes before they start), and Max explained that sometimes they don't have to do it, but they always do it because that is their habit (and they're a bit superstitious about it).

I also thought the explanation about the bracelet was really interesting! I didn't notice it when they did it at Skate America, but I only watched that performance like once.

The really interesting quote, to me, from the 2nd fan meeting video was that Tanya said it was her dream to skate to Romeo & Juliet with Max!! I guess that means that immediately after she began skating with Max, she wanted to use this music?? Yeah, she totally fell for Max from the very beginning, didn't she?

I wonder why Tanya had to fly back to Moscow! I hope it's nothing serious!

This is kind of inappropriate, so I hope you'll forgive me, but didn't Max have a groin injury at that time? Perhaps that seriously limited their, um, activities....

IMO they definitely have the potential to beat V/T but it´s still difficult to say if they can do it already next season.

About Tanya having to fly back earlier, don´t think it´s very serious since she (as usual) posted a pic of Dexter. I think Max is back by now

I think if both pairs skate clean, Max & Tanya will win for sure, but if V/T make mistakes and S/K are clean, I think they can win...

I really want V/T to win another gold in 2018 Olympics too! :yes: But what will be most important is if they can stay healthy...K/S are still young, whereas Max will be pretty old (for a pair skater) by the time they get to 2018 Olympics!

I really hope they go on to win! And then keep skating forever and forever into their 70s, just like the Protopopovs!

ETA Oh, and I meant to mention that we have been speculating about why Ksenia doesn't hang out with V/T that much, but I'm wondering if that's because she's dating Dmitri Soloviev (ice dancer), so she'd rather hang out with him.
I think she's actually quite close to Tanya...in the flower ceremony fan vid from the Olympics, I was really touched when I saw her and Tanya hug for like a minute, and then Ksenia wiped the tears from under Tanya's eyes. So sweet.

@Arawen I certainly don't doubt that zhey have the potential. IMO it will be a bit difficult cause of their "difficult" relationship.

Oh there are always ways, or as Hayden Panettiere said when she talked about her intimate life with Wladimir Klitschko (who is ALOT bigger than her): "Where there is a will there is a way!"

Yes that's true. In the end they'll be as old then as S/S were in Sochi.
In the end 4 years is a very long time and just because you're young doesn't mean you'll stay healthy (of course I wish that for them)
I want V/T to end their career gracefully and not because they're not successful anymore

It will be interesting to see what happens with Savchenko/Massot going forward! I never liked S/S, so I don't particularly have high hopes for them. I've always agreed with Max--Tanya is the best lady pair skater in the world! :yes:

Batsuchan I think you are right. Maxim said they talked years before pairing up about how they would look good on ice, so it wouldn't surprise if they started to fall for each other early on. Thankfully they ended up with their exes before engaging in a relationship. Still, love Max's face when Tanya says she dreamed of skating to R&J with him.

Guys, have you look at their former blog? There is some interesting stuff. This post is from early December 2011 and they talk about the Bompard Trophy. The photos started to be more lovey-dovey than usual and it's funny to see Tanya explaining why Stas wasn't with them at a Moscow grad prix.

It's highly unlikely. Tatiana and Max ended with an advantage of 20 points over them, which is huge. The difference is too big and if Tanya and Max keep skating like they did these past few years I don't see who could beat them.

The grudge came from Aliona when V/T started beating them in competitions. Deleting her on Facebook, VK and so on. (Bit childish if you ask me)
