Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov

They need to have season best and go to free with good score this is what they need.
Their short program is good to the crowd all they need excute it well.
:cheer:

I hope they have a great skate and get a season's best! Which would be over 80... If anyone can do it, they can. :)

I'm sure they feel nerves like any skater would, but to calm myself I keep reminding myself of John Coughlin's comment that they've been on the biggest stage there is and won, so this is nothing new for them, they know how to handle it.

All programs are really early in the morning for me, so I can't justify resorting to alcohol as a coping mechanism. :P I think I'll be drinking a lot of soothing tea...

It's my first worlds as well! I've resorted to takeaway food and lots of easter eggs saved over from the holiday to help me tonight, so basically comfort eating... oops ;) Tea is a much more elegant solution hahaha, gosh though I dont think I could drink watching live figure skating I get hyper enough already! (I'm surprised i didnt get a noise complaint watching Hanyu...)

I can only imagine what they must be feeling too, there's a lot of expectation on their return to the world stage! But im just glad we're such a supportive fanbase and that they know it <3 And you're right, they've been right to the very top and performed divinely under ludicrous amounts of pressure many others would have buckled under; it's a great testament to their mental strength and experience. I have complete faith we'll get one heck of a show over the next two days!

Not bad or good. Just another draw.

Totally agree with you, it's just another draw. All they need is good performance and everything will be theirs, no matter which group they are.
Anyway, just my opinion, sometimes I always wonder about the draw. In all competitions, host country and elite skaters are in last group. But lovely friend in Tatiana and Maxim fanpage clearly explained that it's a real draw, each pairs select their number from the bag. So I understood.

BTW, Let's send the best wishes for our Tatiana and Maxim, I can't wait to see their best SP ever.GO GO V/T.

What are season best of the season?

According to the ISU website, V/T have a season's best score of 222.6, the second highest score after S/K (229.4). But I agree, all of that doesn't matter now. Bring on the SP, go go go V/T!

Yes. Let's focus on the important. To see good routine from our team. :cheer:

I'm so nervous right now!!! I think they can do a great performance, the goal is to achieve a score above 80 points, the group doesn't matter

I watched V/T this morning. It was good, but not their best. Tatiana seemed really nervous at the start. They're in 3rd but there's some wiggle room. They could move up to silver, but I think gold might be out of their reach this year.

I just want them to medal. :/

Fun fact: A friend of mine who's a Bollywood dancer emailed me V/T's Bollywood SP and marveled at how good it was #Worlds2016

Good luck in the free, Tatiana & Maxim - I'll be cheering for you!

Yes, Tatiana especially looked nervous. They lost a lot of levels on elements that they normally do very well like the split triple twist so that is upsetting. I hope that they got the jitters out during this short, so they can perform to their best tomorrow. Regardless, I am very proud of the progress that they have been making and I hope they know that we love them very much!

Nervous from Tatiana but good start for them after 3 years off worlds.
Hope they master the Dracula routine tomorrow
If excuted well it could be the highlight of competition. Very dramatic program. :cheer:
Wish someone reminds Tatiana they have done it all before and no need for bad nerves. They have gold in all why she still worried?

I mean 2 years off worlds

Good thing is each order score was not much difference, they may pull it up with their Free program tomorrow like they used to do in Worlds 2011. However, I agree with the point that this year they may get silver. Let's send our best wishes for them, tomorrow will be another big day.

P.S. at this point, I wish they will get a spot on podium any order.

Well being fair there was a huge audience watching them expecting them to be flawless and such, and it was their first worlds in a year. I hardly blame her for being a little bit nervous! They will be the highlight of the Free no doubt if they can pull it off, which I am sure they will- Maxim always says they skate the free program better after all~ I'm so happy they skated pretty clean aside from the two footed landing on the throw, a marvellous show from a marvellous pair!

Even still, im not... entirely happy with the final results to be quite honest. It's fair Sui/Han are in first they were superb, im happy for em! ....but I have a few issues here and there with everything else below that

I haven't had a chance to watch Sui/Han yet, but by all accounts their lead is well deserved. I'd be much happier with them getting the gold than D/R, tbh. :P

I saw the draw and V/T are skating last tomorrow. That could work to their advantage. It definitely seems to be the trend that they come back even stronger in the free if their short isn't so good. Wishing them the best of luck for tomorrow!

I know what you mean.
Max is thanking the crowd and say they (Tatiana and Maxim) should have done better.
Always like Max in interviews he is very honest.
Overall I think it was good competition for Mozer ( Fyodor does funny twists though  )
We will see tomorrow. You can do it Tat and Max :cheer:
