I just found pictures of Stas and Maxim at the Cup of Russia in 2012 (November)
They seem quite friendly (or at least neutral)with eachother if you ask me.
Even though we predict or assume that Tanya and Max were together there already.
Maybe Stas took the whole thing easier than we thought... (as I hope of course)

Besides. Who knows what was the reason of Tania and Stas break up? Maybe Stas had an affair with someone else? I don't think so but maybe he is not as "poor" as we think he is However, I wish him all the best. I think Stas knows Maxim will not hurt Tanya and that's why he got over it. Maxim and Stas seem to respect each other. Maybe they had some kind of "men talk" ("If you hurt her I will hurt you" or something like that).

I never said he might have been innocent in the break-up.
Same goes for Sasha in my opinion. Think there are always two people to blame for that.
In my opinion Tanya and Maxim have nothing to apologize or be sorry for.

Totally agree with what ntk87 said. Tanya is more calm which helps a lot with Maxim's super emotional character, but I think she's also a very strong person and looks like she always knows how to handle things to keep him grounded.

Agree with that too!!! It´s like he couldn´t gesticulate with his face, he always has the same face. I was surprised when he hugged Maxim in the Olympics, and he rose him of the floor!

Agree on the upgrade. The face he makes in the haircut picture does it for me every time I see it. I wonder if maybe Stas knew that Maxim could give Tanya more then he could in terms of skating. That may have made the whole thing easier knowing in the end she'd get her Olympic medal? A little presumptuous but I'm sure by 2012 they knew they had created a dream team that could make it to the podium consistently.

I also love how caring she is when he is so down. She definitely is his sunlight. She's the perfect balance to his "aggressor" as he says in that cute interview. I also appreciate that they want to skate well and clean and not just win medals. Shows they truly love their craft.

Thought that too but just stumbled over an article where it said that they started dating "midway through their on-ice partnership.
That got me somewhat confused.

About Stas's face... He is just person who don't like to show emotions..i can to say it's like extravert (is it correct word?:think and Nina Mozer said that he is so person, and it was in documentary - she said about Stas in situation with T&M's relationships. She said that she really don't know what inside of him, accepted or not accepted this... But firstly he staying T&M's coach so...
I'm really respect Stas because even if he couldn't accepted it he is not show it... Him's behavior is professional and it's really great. Wonder if Stas have another character? Maybe they can't to take the olympic gold. So..i really respect him.
P.s. About smile..he can smile, really! I look them on cup of russia..in 2009 or 2010, not remember. So he was with Tanya and i saw how he smiled and joked... And on Tanya's vk page she have albums which showed only for friends, so she have photos from summer 2010 , i think, first training camp in new team, and i remember photos where she is kissing with Stas and Max with Sasha, and a lot of pictures with them where Stas smiling...
In documentary Tanya said they are starting dating when she was 17...

If it's November 2012 then it's like a year since Tanya and Max started dating and Stas probably moved on already, he is half smiling in a photo, which is such a huge thing for someone like him. And yeah, I agree, Maxim is an upgrade look wise, as is Tanya for him.

I think it´s so amazing to see how they interact, she always comforts him when he has his emotional outbursts and he adores her so much. When he gets his puppy eyes when looking at her They are so caring towards each other and complement each other. I hope they skate for many years to come with many titles and no major injuries.

Hm...i think if he entrusted Tanya for Max on ice it means something...don't know how explain it. I remember interview with Stas in 2010 and it was question like "it was hard to give your girl for another man, not jealous?" And him only laugh and say that it's work and he is absolutely trusted to Max on ice.
