Замечательный тренер Тамара Москвина, с которой мы пересеклись осенью в «Юбилейном», сказала прекрасную фразу: «Не бывает хорошего катания, если между партнерами нет симпатии, огня». У Тани с Максимом симпатий больше, чем требуется. Первый канал, не тратящий на спорт время зря, даже снял про них документальный фильм «Первая пара. Больше чем любовь».

И стало многое понятно, о чем раньше только догадывались. Укротить строптивый характер Транькова смогла спокойная и рассудительная Волосожар. Между ними, как сказала Татьяна, «химия». И катается она «для него, от души».

Той самой души, которой сегодня не хватило немцам Савченко и Шолковы. Оба выглядели роботами. «Ну Шолковы – везун. Он на тренировках ничего не делает, а на соревнованиях вытаскивает элементы. Видимо, не его день», – с напряжением смотрела за прокатом главных конкурентов тренер российских пар Нина Мозер.

Таня и Максим, узнавшие об оценках в микст-зоне, обнялись, поцеловались и босиком пошагали в зону спортсменов.

What was earlier only a guess, became perfectly clear. The reasonable and calm Volosozhar was able to tame the obstinate character of Trankov. Between them she says, there is chemistry. She skates for him, from her soul.

It was that soul that was lacking in the German couple today. They looked like robots. (there is some further comment about the Germans)....

Tania and Maxim, when learnig about the scores in the mixed zone, embraced, kissed and marched barefoot to the athletes area.
 
I just love the fact that Tatiana can be so versatile in her looks. She can look like a girl next door one moment and like a queen in the same evening. She looks so glamorous when she is on the ice. La femme fatale and an innocent girl.
She demonstrates simply outstanding expressiveness. All this I think came forward when she started skating with Max. Must be love:)

As for him, I think for the last two years I can see a notable maturity in him. He went from looking like a boy to looking like a man. I think the change must have happened around the time his dad died, as tragic as it was for him.

It must have been that immediate attraction and love that was spurring them on in the early days to train as much as they can and become such amazing couple in so short a time.

I can't help but think that even the judges are rooting for them now :)

Agree with everything you said, especially the bolded part. He really DOES look more like a man now, although I miss the Black Swan look. I do think he started to mature once he and Tanya got more serious though, not just when his father died :) But I want him to continue to be a bit immature as well, it makes him funny :laugh:

Yes!! I understand you so well hehe. You're right, but I don't know any girl who could look shymmetric with Yuri or Stas in his last years:laugh:
But yes, I think the same, a big part is because how look together:)

I mean ok, a pairs couple could probably pose like that in front of photographers 'just for the photo', but why then eye each other like that? We've seen other pairs skaters pose for photos, but not with the kind of "we're in love even though we hardly know it ourselves looks since we're dating/living with other partners right now"... So yes, in Paris things had probably started...

Well i must say that there are maybe girls who would look symmetrical with Stas or Yuri, but those girls are probably not pairs skaters on world level... I hope I'm not offenting anyone now... 😉

Thank you for the links! I love this quote from the third article (excuse the poor Google translation) :o:

Why is it that sometimes I can see the statigram picture and if I try again a few minutes later, I can no longer see it, nor any other statigram picture I try?
