Not totally sure what's going on but it's sweet.

I love their interaction in the video, he takes such good care of her. Reminds me of the journalist who asked her what does he tell her during practice.

I was really hoping to see the Rihanna song video of Tanya and Max posted on their Instagram, but so far nothing

He said he started dating Tanya when she was 16 and he 22 and started skating together after, she had a different partner back then. And they asked him if they wanna make things official and his answer was "why?" and the reporter says so they could start a family and he says he's not thinking about children and Tanya even less than him.

I have a question for the Russian girls, more like a curiosity. From what I know when a girl is born or when she gets married she receives the father's/husband's family name and an "A" is added to the name (ex. Maxim's mom's name is Trankova). So why are Tatyana and her mother named Volosozhar, without and "A"? Thank you for the answer in advance!

I´m not Russian, but I think it´s only when the father´s last name ends with "-ov" that the wife/daughter´s last name ends with -"ova".

When a family name ends with "-ov", the feminine form will be "-ova", if it ends with "-in", then it will be "-ina", and if it ends with "-sky", then it will be "-skaya". And the other family names, which don't fit this pattern, they don't change and are the same for men and women.

Edit I think some of the pictures of them swapping clothes are from before they were together.
For example where he wears her beige top standing next to Stas.
Now that I think about it, didn't he find it weird that his girlfriend gives Max her clothes?

Re: the clothes swapping. Yes, the photo of Tanya in Max's clothes is from the end if 2010, posted by Max's dad saying those are his clothes. I guess both Sasha and Stas were ok with all this (probably), as weird it might seem to us. It's like the time when he was carrying Tanya's purse with his gf by his side, totally weird.

Maybe for her the hat is something unusual, unlike seeing Max in his underwear, which probably happens daily

Btw, annafer, I really liked that collage you posted on IG today of them after they found out they won None of the videos I've seen have showed them actually seeing S/S's scores/performance, so I've never seen their shocked faces when they found out before. So thank you for that!

Meryl Davis & Charlie white danced to Rachmaninov's , the same music Tanya and Max use for their recent shows.
At first I was kinda interested to see their own rendition and what they bring to this piece of music, but when I kept watching I noticed a few similarities to tanya and Max's program. Especialy at 3:32, when they do the parallel hand movements (idk how to call it lool).
what do you think? Inspired or completely stolen idea?
