Tatsuki Machida

In today's episode of ISU's WAIT...WHAT!!!

http://youtu.be/YHq2I-WkRcM

Tatsuki speaking English and charming everyone with his laugh.

Oh, I love his response of action than words to the query of how many fans does he think he have. I want to tell him that he has many more than he thinks, that he is loved and appreciated more than he knows.

Thanks ionap for sharing another wonderful Tatsuki "find." :)

What a good treat!!!! He looks so cute, so is his English pronunciation. :) Brushing his hair is one of the things he has to do every day. :laugh2:
I really love his hairstyle and smile with the wink. I guess that was shot at GPF in Barcelona.

He was a bit embarrassed when they asked him the question but he gave a clever answer

I loved his response to "How many fans do you have?" The sweeping gesture... his movement and demeanor changed in that moment. He stowed away normal guy (with voluminous hair) and brought out performer-dancer-diva Machida. :)
It's so cute I couldn't stop rewatching.

Yes it was I feel a trick question. If he said many, he may appear boastful, even if it's true that he has many fans.

Surprised too he doesn't like cheese, thought he would as it goes well with wine which we know he drinks.

Perhaps, he wants to savor wine as it tastes. He lived in US for almost 2 years due to his training under Anthony Liu, so he may get used to American food regardless of his attachment to Japanese food. I don't know why the interviewer questioned about cheese to Tatsuki, but I instantly came up with sliced cheddar cheese because of a strong hamburger image associated with American food. :)

Perhaps the interviewer has read Newbiespectator's post comparing Tatsuki's skating to strong cheese? ;)

whaaaa? Did I? I think that was Plushenko. :laugh2:

Well then, for the record:
Plushenko: Camenbert
Jason Brown: Cheddar
Machida: Blue Cheese.

BTW...I LOVE cheese, literally and metaphorically.

I have mixed feelings about Machida's style, but I like him as a skater. I also thought that he held up the program at TEB very well indeed even though his jumps were not on point. -He should have had higher PCS. It may take some time for people to grow to like Machida...like some very strong cheeses.
As long as he stays true to himself and keeps winning medals, who cares about what others say?

Sorry, I tend to remember what (but not to believe in everything) I have read. ;)

Love cheese too specially on pizzas.

I checked the Wait What video today and noticed it's almost reaching 20,000 views  The others are weeks old and have a maximum of 4,000 views.

Looks like somebody is missed.

Oh happy to know that, thanks ionap. As I'd posted, he is loved and appreciated more than he thinks (and maybe even we think ;)).
