Cannabis is definitely NOT legal in Estonia and no stores allowed to sell it either directly or in cake form... You must be mistaking Estonia for some other country.Cannabis is made legal in Estonia. Lots of shops & cafe sell it in cakes, drinks , ice cream you name it. It was initiated by the police claiming it helps to fight drug related crime. The Euros were in Estonia just a thought could it be somehow connected? But it would be too long ago for test to pick it up, no?
Oh....well would that still strip ROC their medal? And would that disqualify S/K from the individual event. There is now allegedly information from NBC Sports that it is indeed about marijuana and the skater involved is Katsalapov. I cannot find the original source, though. Can anyone confirm this?

I think both, if the anti-doping policy is taken seriously.Oh....well would that still strip ROC their medal? And would that disqualify S/K from the individual event.
If that’s the case that it is pot, then I’m a bit relieved tbh.
Then Russia skating fed should take responsibility before any international event and drug test everyone especially after their last Olympic scandal. But to just now be coming back? I wonder if Russia is fighting that saying if they knew the skater wouldn't have been sent to the Olympics and competed
Would team USA still get their medals? And Japan?I think both, if the anti-doping policy is taken seriously.
This was a tweet claiming to be NBC, but it is not. NBC has not posted any story yet. This is the most reliable source I've seen beyond the USA Today article so far. https://www.espn.com/olympics/story...ceremony-beijing-olympics-delayed-legal-issueThere is now allegedly information from NBC Sports that it is indeed about marijuana and the skater involved is Katsalapov. Seems they would have done this before the team event since disqualifying anyone from that event would delete their scores, and the medal.I think someone tried really hard to dig this information and put pressure on ROC Team before individual events. I think it’s something minor or fake. I believe Russia took all the tests super seriously, they have so many alternates to avoid a mess…
Hard to say but if Valieva's scores are not counted I'm pretty sure Canada wins the bronze. This would destroy her chance for the individualThis happened decades ago when I was a child. But Finland was about to win ice hockey bronze. The goal keeper was tested positive, the reason was told to be medicine for flu. The goal keeper was disqualified from the rest of the games and the result of that game - but only that game - was also disqualified and they gave the won to Czechoslovakia, Finland was allowed to continue and placed 4th. In competitions like relay the whole result must be understandably rejected, but how about in competitions where the performances are individual and other athletes results does not depend on another's performance at individual level?
