I believe the 8th JGP to be held in Sheffield, UK will be called the John Curry Memorial. I have not heard of this designation before but I whole heartedly agree with memorializing his name for the changes he brought in making figure skating a more artistic form of sport.

Did you have the chance to watch pairs? I was wondering what happened to Yue ZHANG / Lei WANG? They are in 4th place, maybe had a fall?

I'll probably try to catch up some tomorrow. I tried to watch some demo clips last night, then I accidently closed the 'view window', when I opened the window again, it kept on eating my credits. This is crazy.

No, unfortunately I had my own problems with the window at first and was not able to see Zhang and Wang.
I did see the entire OD, and let me state, for the record, that M&T do more or less deserve their lead. I'm not sure about the Czech team being in third though...
