Congratulations 
to Tomoki on taking the Bronze Medal 
at Kinoshita Cup. A long road since his Junior days but it’s been a joy to follow him. I always love his music choices, he never shies away from jumps, has admirable stamina, speed and his spins are wonderful (due in part to his early training).

Tomoki Hiwatashi is retiring after this season. Confirmed by Rockerskating. Tomoki says he will post something soon on his Instagram.

I am really going to miss Tomoki, his presence was one-of-a-kind and he never failed to entertain. 
I know he mentioned in one of GoldenSkate's posts on Instagram that he wants to become a technical specialist. I hope he gets the opportunity to be part of another ice show at some point!

Going to miss Tomoki competing. I wanted him on the olympic team so bad, but I am happy he finished his career with a good skate. Happy retirement to him and glad he is planning to stay in the skating world.
