A short term visa for a specific purpose such as getting a program choreographed or a summer of training is a different process.But Boyang already has a visa to Canada, he was in there for a month, so he goes and exit the country every 3 months (not that hard he just cruise American border) and then comeback. The visa excuse is not reasonable.
I note that the Chinese team training in Montreal is only on a short term visa at this point.
And the Chinese federation has not yet identified their Canada coaching team officially on their lists...as long term status is not in place.
Russians have a different idea about bureaucratic proceedings and are willing to make an announcement while the paperwork is getting into place.
