I see Evgenia has discovered Canadian geese [emoji23] in her latest Instastory
Russians can be assured that she hasn't acclimatized too much...

Those of us that have recollections of guarding our treats from them as small children have more mixed feelings....

That said, she would enjoy the quirky Canadian movie "Fly away home" staring Anna Paquin that puts heart-warming story on real research on goose development and attachment.

I've been around too many belligerent ganders to be a big fan of geese. Ducks are cool, though.

Evgenia had the wisdom to turn away from the geese and instead endorse a local Russian bakery. Images from the Instastory here: https://twitter.com/FSIgstories/status/1019391404232134657

I think Jerry the dog dodged a bullet in this instance. I would not want a small dog, no matter how plucky his/her soul, to engage with geese or swans as they can be strong and vicious. :noshake:

Looks like Tuesday again was a busy day for Team Cricket conditioning. YPP posted a gif of Gabby, Alison, Corey, and Olivia, whereas Pilates North (the same company that had Team Cricket men and women outdoors last summer) featured Jason in its latest update at a different studio space than the one Gabby and co. were at. Of course no idea whether these truly show everyone present. So maybe Jason was there by himself, or maybe as one of the new faces PN simply chose to feature him yesterday.

I want a new IG story of Zhenya and Jason eating stuff from the bakery (within reason of course, lol). Or make it a big tcc party!

I think his face is getting a ittle more angular and less round as he matures?

IIRC I think he also cut his hair recently? And it looks styled differently there. I'm so used to him wearing the hoods up on hoodies in recent photos with Conrad that it looks different regardless.

Yuzuru is going to compete at Autumn Classics (it will be approved at the Board of Directors of JSF held on Monday). I wonder if other skaters from TCC will also participate. If so, good luck to all and the fans, neighbors as well :)

Hopefully Zhenya will compete there or other challenger series competitions. I know Brian said that’s the plan. I’d like to see Jason as well.

I think Evgenia confirmed going to AC with Jason during her last IG live.... Or was it just about sharing the same challenger series competition and gp assignments without mentioning AC?
But I guess going to AC is more practical for them than for example Zhenya going to the other side of the world

I don't think that Zhenya mentioned which Challenger, (at least not in English, I don't understand Russian:)). We have been presuming ACI because Team Cricket often goes there.

Jason, when he was with Kori, seemed always to be assigned to a European Challenger (Lombardia or Nebelhorn), but I think even Challengers try to keep coach's skaters together (for example, last year both Jordan Moeller and Jason, then coached both by Kori, were assigned to Lombardia).

The Autumn Classic organisers better start gearing up early... from what I've read, wasn't it a bit of a shock for them the first year Yuzuru and his fans descended? And with Evgenia possibly making it too...

i went to the last 2 in montreal... 2 years ago it was fine.. yuzu was there... not that many fans for him..

last year, they blocked entire rows of seats... all day... and came just to see him practice .. then left.. then came just for his LP..

organizers had to deal with people thinking they had to line up overnight... but they didn't because they had not oversold the place... i arrived 3 minutes before the practice .. found a seat... and had a great day..

however, what was sad is that many skaters from the region couldn't get tickets to see the event because they were sold out... i thought it was unfortunate because so many of the fans didn't watch the entire competition...
