Here we go again....

This Saturday, the Marshalls Cheesefest will be broadcast at 1 PM on ABC. Bocelli on Ice will be broadcast on NBC - at 1 PM. Why do they do this to us??? (what we need here is an icon where the head keeps banging against a brick wall...)

On Sunday, Gotta Skate will air at 1 PM on NBC . At 1:30 on Fox -- Gymnastics: Celebration of Gold. Different sport, but basically appeals to fans of both - well, me anyway.

At least I have 2 VCRs and can tape both - others are not so fortunate.

According to Yahoo's TV grid, here in Los Angeles they will both be on at exactly the same time (1:00 - 3:00). I'll just have to watch one while I tape the other to watch later. hwell:​

I just saw the Bocelli special on the French station here in Canada. My limited high school French was no help during the commentaries, but I enjoyed the skating and Bocelli's golden pipes.

Who is the female skater standing next to Shae-Lynn (Brian Orser's hand is on her shoulder). She has really long hair. A good skater, but I could not place her.

Ladskater, I think that is Silvia Fontana (John Zimmermann's wife). She did skate in this show.

In the Eastern time zone (at least in the Detroit market) they straightened out the schedule. Marshall's from 1-3 on ABC, Bocelli tribute from 4-6 on NBC, World Team Championship, 7-11 on Oxygen.

In a related TV alert, Todd was supposed to be on the Today Show today, but will be on the Today Show tomorrow morning. This was announced at the end of the show.

Just got through watching the Bocelli thing. Frankly, I don't care much for this type of music. I turned the sound down while it was on. Gotta love all those fancy things Shae-Lynne does with her legs. It really distinguishes her from the others. What a babefest! For once, the women outnumbered the men. :agree: Now I've gotta rewind the tape and see what was going on at ABC while I was watching NBC.​
