Two Rise As Future of U.S. Skating

Besides Kimmie, who else in the senior rank has any chance? Maybe Rachel Flatt? I'm not so impressed with her. She has triple+triple, but seems to me puberty monster won't be very kind to her judging by her appearance.

Bebe and Katy have both won internationally as seniors. They both excelled in the short program in Spokane, then faltered. When and if Katy can deal with her problems, and she has been quiet as to what those are, she will be a powerful force.

I don't think so, especially Katy, Even if Katy skated two clean program, she wouldn't be in the top 6. Bebe, on the other hand, she just can't deal with the pressure. If you think they could medal at worlds with clean programs, you must be dreaming.

There is something about Katie's jumps that bother me. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe Wagner can make an impact next year.

i love bebe and katy, but they have tried and tried and always fall just shy of the world team. With michelle and Cohen gone, they might have a better chance, but they are both Short Program skaters and will never place higher than a hopefull 11th or so at worlds. They have both skated in Grand Prix events and came nowhere near the podium. I love thier skating and think that they are sweet young girls, but let's face it.... never a threat to the podium at top events besides nationals.

By the way, Mirai is the national junior champion and world junior silver medalist. What would she need to do to warrant a bio on usfigureskating.org?

Nagasu will get an online bio (Team B) later this summer after the 2007-08 team envelopes are officially published on the USFS site. In the meantime, the current 2006-07 USFS team envelope bios will stay online until sometime in May. For the projected/unofficial USFS team envelopes in 2007-08, see: http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16181
