Michelle is up against boxer Oscar de la Hoya in the Wild Card division of the Los Angeles Times contest for the all-time great Los Angeles area athlete. If she advances, eventually she will have to meet number one seed Jackie Robinson as well as Wayne Gretzky, Venus and Serena Williams (paired together as a two-some) and Tiger Woods, plus some notable long-shots like Rafer Johnson (decathlon), Billie Jean King, volleyball legend Karch Kiraly, and jockey Bill Shoemaker.
