The front page has been updated with Wakaba's scores from Rostelecom! Not the perfect outing, but I really enjoyed her two programs! Her new FS costume looks a lot better in motion in my opinion than in the pics posted earlier

Not going to lie, that part in the FS where she pauses and walks in the middle of the ice looked kind of weird to me the first time I saw it but today I loved it! She really sold the Bond look. Especially that look she gave to the judges

I believe Wakaba can still make the GPF. I will be rooting for her -- if she is completely clean or maybe with the help of a 3a she definitely has a shot against Alina and Mai at her second assignment.

I was thinking about GPF chances as well... She'd probably have to place at least 2nd at COC if I'm not mistaken? With that field, I wish her the best of luck. I think she can do it if she doesn't make small mistakes like today

Wakaba's freeskate was so entertaining! Couldn't look away for a second! Unbelievable how much she's improved compared to last season. A pity that she popped that jump in the first half, that was really costly.

It's sad that only six skaters can qualify for the GPF. This women's field is so strong...

According to Rockerskating's reports of the Rostelecom Press Conference, Wakaba stated that she's working on the 3A, but probably won't include it in her programs this year.

Seemed like they planned a potential 3A in the FS, but I'm glad she's not doing it if it's not consistent yet.

Did anyone else thing she looked sad in the FS kiss and cry? even BEFORE the score was announced? I sincerely hope she sees that she is one of the few that can challenge the biased judging system, and that she is inspired and driven by this to become the best she can be. Can someone post the gala when it comes out?

I thought she visibly looked super worried after she doubled the salchow. Tbh after watching Kaori get canned I would have been scared for my score as well.

I'm very proud of her! She held it together and delivered two solid 3-3's and a 3F with no tech calls. Even though she was clearly thrown off after popping the salchow, and was behind the music for the entire second half of the program, she held it together and didn't let the performance suffer too much. We all know that she's motivated, determined and strong-willed. She will only get better as the season progresses.

youtube suggested to me. I was enchanted, this version is not completely clean, but for some reason I was a little teary , I then went on watched a bunch of other versions including clean ones.
Maybe it is the falling of hair band.
