I absolutely loved the work Scali & Shae did with Waka, and I would have been super happy had she stayed with them. But I'm also very impressed & happy she's willing to take more of a risk (let's face it, having a different choreographer having to live up to her so well received Bond LP is a *very* hard task, more so then staying with the "safe" choreographers she knows). Changing choreographers often gives skaters new perspectives and helps them develop even more in new ways then before - and I just love how invested Waka is in "broadening her artistic horizon", so to speak

(Also, for everyone who's so unhappy about the news - she's debuting this very early. And if they really get many negative reactions, she has all the time to change the program )

This is what I also expect from this collaboration. Also it’s consistent to what Wakaba aims for: originality in her programs. What’s good thing about her style of skating is she really puts her soul to every move (and you can feel the intensity) so I think even with a music we aren’t familiar with, it’s a great way to showcase this side of her skating. It’s the totality of her program that makes her so interesting to watch.

There is nothing set in stone as far as Boyang is concerned, we only know "CSA is considering it", and from what we know it would *not* be a full coaching switch, but more like Summer Camps maybe. So I'd think it wouldn't interfere with Waka going there too much - and given that these rumors are quite a bit older, I'd think if Waka goes or not might very well be decided already, but if she is it's not announced yet (for whatever reason). I'm getting impatient and nervous though, would be nice if we heard something soon. Nobody there owns us anything, buuuut I'd be very grateful
