What are you looking forward to seeing?

To me it has to be the men event. It's a shame that Evan won't be there because it really is going to a battle between 6-8, I mean from the top of my head I think of Takahashi, Joubert, Lambiel, Verner, Buttle, Weir, Chan and hopefully Voronov. While it seems, considering past events, there is one clear favorite there, still it seems it's going to be very very close.

And since my fave is still in hiatus, it's so much relaxing for me to watch this events.

What I'd like to see...

Chan vs. Buttle. I can't wait to see who comes out on top. I know Chan's been beeting him all season, but Buttle's the veteran.

Joubert vs. Takahashi. I also want to see where Stephane fits into all of this, and how he an Joubert will feel after being recently beaten by Verner.

Joannie Rochette hopefully, finally having a good worlds. Medal or not, I'd love to see her look happy in the k&c.

Mao vs. Yu-Na vs. Miki part 2.

Dube/Davison injury free and possibly contending for a medal for the first time in their careers.

Virtue/Moir hopefully making it to the podium.

Delobel/Schoenfelder finally winning a medal.

Weaver/Poje staying on their feet this time around, skating to their potential, and hopefully making the top 10.

Men: I'd like to see everyone has great skating. I'd like to see Johnny skates two clean programs like he did at CoC this season, plus a clean quad, of course.

Dance: I'd like V/M to be on the podium at least. Get the gold if possible - but maybe this is a too much an expectation for them for this year.

I look forward to seeing Yu-na skating in her new dress. As much as her LP dress previously was a disappointment, I'm looking forward to seeing her in a dress that suits her more.

Wha-wha-what? you didnt know about their OD and John in a kilt? Its an amazing OD to Erin Shore and Auld Lang Syne played by the Royal Highland Dragoon Guards. I love their programs this year, but then again Ive been a fan for awhile so Im biased.

Thanks for that link! I never watch icedance but I remember reading in article about the two of them skating to Scottish music in The Times. It's great to watch. I hope they do another good one at Worlds.

I am looking forward to the excitement that only world can bring.

I am looking foward to seeing Bebe skate well, Tanith and Ben win the first ever world title for the u.s., Mao skate two perfect programs and win, Lambiel land his 3 axel and a quad,....and just for everything to be fair and exciting and for everyone to skate their best.

That reminds me, I got really angry when this one poster a long time ago wrote that Delobel and Schoenfelder does not deserve their top billing in France because the other teams are much better and there' overlooked in favor of the older team. First of all, I would just like to say that that's totally wrong. I love carron and Jost too, they've got great style and charm, but their skating is so sloppy and they make a lot of mistakes in theri performances, I honestly think they have a long way to go before they are taken more seriously. Also, I don't know much about Pechelat and her partner, but I have to say I loved their flamengo OD it reminded me much of Pezerat and anissina, but I still think they're not as smooth as Olivier and Isabel...

I believe that one poster is me. I have never read anything special about Carron and Jost except by me. In this case, I did not predict a win for them. I don't think they are up to that standard, yet. Del/Sh have always been a favorite of mine, and the most innovative of all the skaters. I guess you agree with me on D/S. I think you were being harsh on an up and coming team and implying they will never be good.
