Hi Im 143lbs (65kg) and 172cm (5'7), I also have strong ankles, good ankle bend, built calves (legs in general) from a martial arts background. I am a beginner but I've been casually ice skating and roller blading for 8 years (Forward stroking, Forward Slalom, basically all basic forward movement stuff I know how to do).
First off, Yes! I am going to a professional fitter! But I also want to know what possible boots the fitter might give me (To know what costs and how much I will have to spend).
I've been researching and I have taken interests in Jackson Freestyles, Edea Choruses, Risport Royal Pro (I think its an overboot), Edea Overtures, Risport Electra Lights. My foot is also 265mm on the dot, I would say I have standard foot width (not narrow but not wide as well). What do everyone thinks I'll get fitted to? So I can prepare my bank account! Thanks everyone

That's OK when you're new to the site and it's confusing
. You may get more advice once the world championships are over, though. GS is primarily a forum for skating fans and not many of us are actually skaters and/or coaches. The attention is focused on the championships that are just days away from starting. Hang in there, help will arrive eventually!
