Hello guys!!
Since I'm a juvenil idiopathic arthritis patient, I was looking, out of my curiosity, for some good medical method in figure skating when you must treat trochanteric bursitis, a so common health issue even for non-skaters. I found out this interesting article that talks about bursitis in general, published on PubMed: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26674524/
As far as I know, trochanteric bursitis is a typical injury that affects most figure skaters. However, I was also looking for specific skating treatments regarding this problem, but I could not find them. Do some of you know any particular technic used by coaches or medical stuff to treat trochanteric bursitis affecting skaters? I will appreciate whatever stuff might come out here regarding such medical studies
