1. Amber Glenn winning Japanese Nationals pregame 
I found myself tearing up during the FS, which I know the FS music is a nothingburger but it really is something to see the desire and nerves colliding and wanting it to go well for her, especially after landing one of her best 3A in the FS.
2. Hase/Volodin FS. Finally, some classics in pairs!!! Such a commanding and solid performance.
3. Not Senior GPF, but Jacob Sanchez is a revelation. I missed both his junior GPs but he really skates like a senior. Move over Minkyu and Rio, I have a new favorite junior in town!

1. Rino FS--any time I see her free I feel privileged.

3. Chock/Bates both programs--If you would have told me a decade ago that I would be into this team I would have been shocked.
Honorable mentions: Mone Chiba both programs--smart packaging and gorgeous skating. Yuma both programs--even with mistakes he's so special.

1. Amber’s FS and win becoming the first US woman to win the GPF in 14 years and first LGBTQIA+ figure skater to win the event in history
2. Gilles and Poirier’s redemptive 2nd place FD, which proved they could have given Chock and Bates a run for their money had the fall not happened in the RD; this proved they are still a top 2 team in the world of ice dance
3. Hase and Volodin’s FS; I am in awe of how fearless Minerva is as a pair woman. Give this boss queen all the flowers!
HM: Lopareva and Brissaud’s overall performance and the joy and gratitude they displayed to just be a part of this event; you guys are so cool and you both deserve to be here among the best ice dancers in the world!
