You've seen all the prelimns - now, how who are your top 10 Men?

So whom do you think will be in a) the top 3 Men at Worlds? b) the next 2? and c) the reamining 5? to make the top 10

You may list them in order or if you prefer as I do, in no particular order. (Don't let your heart get in the way of your head,)

The eligible men are: Joubert; Plushenko; Honda; Li; Weiss; Klimkin; Lambiel; Griazev; Chiper; Dambier;; Davydov;l Vlashenko; Sandhu; Buttle; Weir; Savoi.

If I listed someone who is not eligible or someone I left out who is eligible, let us know.

Now go for it.:)

Okay, not in any particular order....but top three:

Joubert, Sandhu, Plushenko

Next two:

Weiss, Klimkin

Rounding out top ten:

Weir, Griazev, Lambiel, Li, Dambier.

I'm going on the assumption that Honda will not skate...and I thought Buttle wasn't going to worlds?? If so, I would think both could be in the top ten, pushing out probably Dambier and Griazev.

I'm usually totally off when I try to "predict" but I like to try...

Joubert
Plushenko
Weir

Weiss
Klimkin

Buttle
Sandhu
Lambiel
Savoi
Li

Buttle and Honda will not be at Worlds.

Here are my predictions. Some come from the heart and some from my head.

Podium: Emanuel, Joubert, Plushy

All the rest (in no particular order): Weir, Weiss, Lambiel, Li, Dambier, Klimkin, Ferreira

My guess: Joubert, Plushenko, Weir, Sandhu, Lambiel, Klimkin, Li, Savoie, Weiss.

I wish Weiss really works harder to improve his skating. Since he came back and switched to Don Law, he mostly depended on luck, someone beat another in the long, to stay on top. His crossovers and inbetweens all need a lot of work. This year's long program choreoghaphy is weired.

You know ... it seems to me that most of us are pretty much agreed on who is going to be on the podium (although it remains to be seen in which order ... even Plushenko can have a very black day as we have just seen at Europeans), but beyond that ... who knows ... it's definetely going to be interesting!!!

And just to think --- I am going to be there!!! YAY!!!

Abt had a quad when he was healthy and in shape. In 2002 he landed it perfectly even as a jump combo 6 times out of 8 at Europeans, Worlds and OG. :)
And Griazev might get one soon, he is still very young. ;)

1. Plushenko
2. Li
3. Joubert
4. Weir
5. Klimkin
6. Sandhu
7. Weiss
8. Dambier
9. Lambiel
10. Savoie

Yes, let's get back to the original topic. Is it Min Zhang that's going to Worlds? Then I'll substitute Min Zhang for Song Gao on my list.

Top 3:
Joubert
Plushenko
Weir (if he has a quad)

Rounding out the top 5:
Weiss
Sandhu

Savoie should be somewhere in the top ten, as should Klimkin. I wish Van der Perrin would be, but without CoP I don't see that happening.

I'm personally and professionally disappointed in the discriminating direction this thread took.

However, I won't delete the entire thread.

In no particular order:
