Well obviously nearly everyone  but... who could do it the absolute best and completely enrapture an audience?

This was something that came up briefly on the CoC Men's thread and Deniss (natch) and I mentioned it could be moved here for just musing... and with an eye to the possibilities in solo ice dance later.

Obviously I am not suggesting that jumps are not a vital part of any program but it is increasingly rare to have male skaters of say the IJS era who, if they absolutely had to, could put together a program with everything else that would spellbind an audience (not just their own core fans here or on other forums), I'm aware that there are those spectators who wouldn't watch anything with no jumps, just as there are those who wouldn't watch a jumping competition with nothing else. But thinking about the majority, skaters like Deniss and Jason do or should have enough of the skating skills, artistry etc... and then there are some of those known for being good at jumps as well (the 'as well' being vital here) like Patrick Chan, Shoma Uno and Mikhail Kolyada. Then going back Stephane Lambiel, Jeffrey Buttle and Daisuke Takahashi. Obviously Yuzuru Hanyu and not just because he has done it (Continues With Wings and the first 3/4 of RE_PRAY.)

So who else do folk think are just that good at all the things that make up figure skating?

I wouldn't mind watching Jason Brown (although I do expect his split jumps), I recall being fascinated by both Yuzuru and Shoma not doing a jump, just today I saw Deniss doing a programme that would excite met without any jump what-so-ever, Kevin Amoz also comes to mind. In women I used to love Lu Chen as well without a jump element. Kaori might attract me too. Mostly I like the combination, when jumps are integrated into a programme. It's not just jump-jump-jump but not just interpretation either (although the last might excite me more).

For men, my list includes: Kurt Browning, Christopher Bowman, Paul Wylie, Stephane Lambiel, Jeffrey Buttle, Emanuel Sandhu, Shawn Sawyer, Matthew Savoie, Kristoffer Berntsson, Ilia Klimkin, Tomas Verner, Jeremy Abbott, Denis Ten, Daisuke Takahashi, Patrick Chan, Joshua Farris, Yuzuru Hanyu, Tatsuki Machida, Mikhail Kolyada, Jason Brown, Shoma Uno, Jun-hwan Cha, Kevin Aymoz, Deniss Vasiļjevs, Yuma Kagiyama, and Aleksandr Selevko. Skaters showing potential to be added are: Anthony Paradis, Adam Siao Him Fa, Koshiro Shimada.

All of the ice dancers! ;)

Women: Katarina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi, Oksana Baiul, Yuka Sato, Michelle Kwan, Nicole Bobek, Sasha Cohen, Angela Nikodinov, Mao Asada, Carolina Kostner, Joannie Rochette, Alissa Czisny, Satoko Miyahara, Alena Kostornaia, Kaori Sakamoto, Amber Glenn, Rino Matsuike. I may have more to add later.

Yuzuru for sure - he has done several of them by now, and some are among my favourites to go to. .. "A Fleeting Dream" from Final Fantasy is a show program and it cannot be linked here as it is not on the internet in full but it is a thing of true beauty and depth, and serves to prove jumps are not necessary at all to keep the audience breathless. It was a part of GIFT, too, among other shows, so it can be watched on D+ in many countries.
I saw Zhenya Medvedeva's programs somebody mentioned above and I can confirm I did not miss jumps either. In fact. I never noticed they were absent until I saw them mentioned here...
Jason, Kevin and Denis for sure. Javier Fernandez probably could make quite a show with no jump. Rika Kihira was a great jumper and jumps were her doom but I am pretty sure she could have a great show without them. She was that good.

A lot of my favorites have been mentioned already, but I want to add Yuna Aoki, Satoko Miyahara, Karen Chen, Emmy Ma, Yuna Kim, Mao Asada and Anastasiia Gubanova.

I believe Carolina Kostner’s Clair de Lune exhibition program had no or only one jump and it remains my absolute favorite interpretation of that piece.

Edit: also Katia Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov (RIP) in pairs

In 2008 my wife and I attended Junior Worlds in Sofia. Caroline Zhang finished second to Rachel Flatt but injured herself during the competition. Caroline skated a beautiful exhibition number in the Gala and it was only after she finished that I realized that she had done no jumps at all.

I am in love with Megalovania from RE_PRAY, which - after that first spellbinding segment in silence except for the amplified sound of skates on ice - is all about spins. And COiNTU of course included all his famous programs sans jumps because of ankle :)

I think Javi may have done a show one based on flamenco which had few jumps and could have taken them out.

Another vote for Sasha Cohen and Mai Mihara, oh and Satoko!
