I say women without 3Lo and men without 3A(not in this list) don't deserve to be called the "jumper".

(Of course I'm talking about Kim and Lambiel)
You missed Lambiel's 3A in the LP? and regardless of an injured back you feel Kim should have done a 3L, and it was ok for Mao to leave out the 3L?

You may think about rerunning your tape of Tokyo Worlds.

Lambiel's 3A is just like a roll of a dice.
I don't think he HAS that jump.

And I'm pretty sure Kim's "injury" never heals.
If "healthy and top form Yu-Na" loses to Mao, they just can't stand.
They always make excuses to protect their extreme self esteem.
Kim may try a triple loop so that she can say "I lost because of THAT mistake."

Mao hands down. She landed a 3A and a 3-3-3 combination at the age of 12/13 (I can't recall which) !

I can't believe that more people think that Yu-na is a better jumper than Mao.... *shakes head sadly* Yu-na may be more artistic than Mao but Mao's jumps are better.

Judging from indirect evidences, about 20% of the forum members (same for FSU) are Koreans (regardless of their locations).
ALL of them vote for Kim, but none for Mao.

Unlike you, not all of us are biased by our nationalities.
Mao's jumps are certainly more difficult, but Yu-Na's jumps always receive higher GOE, and I don't think you can say that all of the judges are Korean nationalists who are out to get the Japanese.

I agree. Mao definitely does more difficult combinations and has triple axel while Yu-na's jumps are more "textbook". As of right now, however, niether is as consistent as they used to be in junior field, which I think has to do with growth spurt (Mao) and injury (Yu-na). As a fan of both Mao and Yu-na, it's sad to see that some figure skating fans here have nothing but negativity.

I totaly agree with you. Some people set down all opinion to nationality, and don't admit their own bias. I don't want to see that they keep nitpicking on Yu-Na over and over again.

Yes, Yuna Kim's only "textbook" triple jump is 3T.

3Lz...too many falls
3Lo...can't do at all, even 2Lo is underrotated
3S...very unstable
3F...great LIP

Satorare, your anti-YuNa activity is already enough. It seems you are a bit not satisfied with above result, but this poll is about ' Who is the best jumper?'. Is it enough to say whom you think best jumper?

Not only that, but the poll actually says "Your favorite jumper." My favorite might not be "the best," but she is still my favorite.

I noticed that three people voted for Alissa Czisny. She's one of my favorites, too. :)

Do you think what I commented was negative? I was being realistic; you can tell between Yu-na and Mao who is the better jumper jumper by watching their performances. Plus, I also do have a kind word for Yu-na, even though she is not one of my favourite skaters; I said she was more artistic.

What I said:

I wan not necessarily referring to you when I mentioned some negativity going on in this forum. However, if it is THAT obvious that Mao is the best jumper, we wouldn't need this poll, right? I'm with you on that Mao is the most talented jumper, (maybe aside from Midori Ito). But, being the most talented jumper doensn't make you the best jumper. I believe Sasha was the most talented skater of her time, but she had never been the best. I just don't like somewhat biased attitudes of some Mao fans and Yu-na fans. It is almost like "we will give Mao the jumps, so Yu-na takes artistry". Hello, there are other skaters who are just as good jumpers as Mao is, and those who are just as artistic as Yu-na.
I didn't vote because no one was perfect in jumping department the past season.
FYI, Yu-na has successfully landed 3-3 in every international competition she's entered, and Carolina landed 3-3-3 at Euro.

Fav jumper

Vaughn Chipeur:clap:
His jumps are huge and really make skating exciting to watch!

I love Carolina, but she didn't land a 3-3-3 at Europeans. No woman has ever done that.

Best jumpers - Yu-Na for elegance, Mao for lightness, Miki for power.
