I purposely bought a new mini-boombox with a radio/cassette/CD player to have in reserve. We DO have a space saver radio/CD player in the kitchen & a Bose radio/CD player in another room (in place of the bulky stereo system we used to have). I'm not read to give up my huge CD collection @ this point!

I have a Bose radio+player in the living room also. What I needed (I thought) was a new Walkman-type to carry around attached to me. Of course, after I got the new one, I discovered the old one that I thought had stopped working was just fine. I'd accidentally put it on Hold, so it would turn on but not play anything
At birthday parties, a scavenge
hunt for prizes in the garden was always fun

A favourite snack? Mine
is bottled water frozen into ice cubes!
[No drink poured over them, just half a dozen small ice cubes dumped in a glass and then slowly "eaten" one by one.
