Words and rhyme - game

Implore your favorite deity, plus the devil
to help you avoid flooding

(Another way of describing BC's shape is to say it looks like a broader version of California)
We're told Richmond will turn into pudding
and we'll all sink into the ooze when The Big One finally happens

[The Big One being a predicted huge earthquake that will destroy the whole coast, and Lulu Island, which is a bog on which we sit, will melt and disappear. In a century or so from now, so we tend to be quite sanguine about it.]

The state of Michigan is shaped like a mitten
What is the shape of your state/province like?

As a former Yooper (Upper Peninsula-er) I will add, it's not Dreamlike
to say the Other-Part-of-Michigan is shaped somewhat like a Big Fish!

Well, I'll do 2 things here. I'll repeat my previous post here (in response to Diana):

Who's that rappin'
on the stage?

And in response to skylark:

What is your wish
for the Olympic season?

Take your pick (or do both  )!

Turn the page
to read the rest of the lyrics

[It's just breakfast time here. I'm not a morning person for my brain to do both. ]

I'd love to see Alisa and Misha breezin'
down Olympic Ice with their new programs!

Is there an advantage
to being short?

(I had trouble thinking of a word that could possibly rhyme with "heritage").

If you choose the right sport
it can be helpful to be small

(Isn''t that one of the challenges of this game, using a word that's difficult to rhyme :scratch2:;)? On DanceForum for ballroom dancers, there's a word game where you change one letter and then rearrange them into a new word. Yesterday it went from lamed to gleam to large, but sometimes a word will sit for days because no one can think what to do with it )
