The lady used to be required to touch
the man's shoulders when landing a twist
[She had to catch his shoulders as he caught her waist, to show they were in synch and neither of them had gone offtrack during the separation. Not sure when it changed to become a no-no if she touches him on the landing, but I remember having to relearn twist technique with a post-retirement recreational partner. Now that I'm back with my original partner, we do it the original way. Safer for oldies like us.
