I think the only thing we can be somewhat sure is he will be there even if he will have to crawl on the ice :slink: Other than that we don't know anything. We can't even say 100 % where he is now training, but it's propably in Japan...

Thanks! I think I will wait a few more days before I make my predictions. I am thinking Javi or Ten may take gold.

I'm not picking on you in particular, Alba, but it is handier quoting just one post.

Firstly, when players are making out their Men's predictions, please be aware that Denis Ten and Jeremy Ten are BOTH on the Provisional Entry List. So, PLEASE, do not just write "Ten" in your predictions. If you do just write "Ten", the scorers cannot be entirely sure whether you mean Denis or Jeremy. And, hence, the "Ten" prediction will be discounted.

Secondly, for the couples categories, PLEASE refrain from just using initials. For a start, some couples have the same initails. For example "C/B" in Ice Dance could mean Chock / Bates OR Coomes / Buckland. Also, only putting initials means that it takes a LOT longer for the scorers to score the predictions, because they first have to decipher them!

Finally, even if it is only the podium that you care about, you may as well do a full set of 6 predictions. It's more fun, and you will give yourself a better chance of scoring well in the Predictions Game. And, as I said earlier, with the double points and bonuses, this would be a perfect time to join in, as you have the potenital to quickly make up ground.

Hope you all enjoy playing!

I'm interested enough to ask why you would put C/B so low and W/P so high? Both can get a bit tight when the pressure is high. I honestly believe that P/C have the momentum on their side. But anything could happen. However I/Z making the podium, that would be all kinds of fantastic.

You're welcome. I know that my prediction here is a bit risky, but I got the feeling that
1. Kaitlyn WEAVER / Andrew POJE: will have two clean performances.
2. Gabriella PAPADAKIS / Guillaume CIZERON: the situation is different from Euros, they're one of the favourites, but they'll cope well with it despite having some minor mistakes. I think it will be tight.
3. Elena ILINYKH / Ruslan ZHIGANSHIN: will have a stellar SP and a clean FP. Might be 2nd behind Weaver/Poje after the short but will drop to 3rd after the FP. They had the 4th best FP at GPF, so I think that a podium place is possible for them.
4. Anna CAPPELLINI / Luca LANOTTE: had to put them below Papadakis/Cizeron and Ilinykh/Zhiganshin, I kind of wanted to put them even lower, but they're still the reigning champions. Don't like their programs much this year.
5. Madison CHOCK / Evan BATES: will have one or two clearly visible mistakes, not a meltdown, but still visible.
6. Maia SHIBUTANI / Alex SHIBUTANI: will go clean, but cannot place higher than 6th the moment.
