Firstly, when players are making out their Men's predictions, please be aware that Denis Ten and Jeremy Ten are BOTH on the Provisional Entry List. So, PLEASE, do not just write "Ten" in your predictions. If you do just write "Ten", the scorers cannot be entirely sure whether you mean Denis or Jeremy. And, hence, the "Ten" prediction will be discounted.

Right, thank you. I had no idea about Jeremy Ten tbh. :hopelessness:

Secondly, for the couples categories, PLEASE refrain from just using initials. For a start, some couples have the same initails. For example "C/B" in Ice Dance could mean Chock / Bates OR Coomes / Buckland. Also, only putting initials means that it takes a LOT longer for the scorers to score the predictions, because they first have to decipher them!

I'll edit now. :)

Finally, even if it is only the podium that you care about, you may as well do a full set of 6 predictions. It's more fun, and you will give yourself a better chance of scoring well in the Predictions Game. And, as I said earlier, with the double points and bonuses, this would be a perfect time to join in, as you have the potenital to quickly make up ground.

I was too lazy to think about 6 places.
I'll see now. ;)

p.s. Edit my post. I also changed some places. I'm going with my guts. :slink:

 Did you use the first name, last or full name? I'm going to try this. :laugh2:
LOL. I just pasted in all the names I couldn't choose between, straight out of the entry list.
One name per line, it doesn't matter how it's written.
Click the button and it gives you back the same list in a random order...

It can't be any worse than my own predictions :-D Ice is slippery, and I have found again and again that anything can happen, confounding my predictions. Especially in the men's competiton... O_o

I have a funny feeling that one of the top two Russian ladies will make a very rare mistake, I just can't decide which one it is. Hmmmm....

I'm sad that no one believes in Kozuka :( I know he's inkonsistenz, but as is dennis ten and if Kozuka skates to his potential, he's right in the league of the top three. His Japanese nationals FS this season was just amazing :D

There're so many good ladies out there, so the placements are more like wishful thinking than anything else

Thank you. If it carries on like this, there are going to be a lot of players getting disappointed. Which is the last thing I want to happen.

I chose some of them, and www.random.org/lists/ chose the rest..! :-P

Ever since satine94 first mentioned the randomiser, I've always been curious to see what it would come up with. So, I just tried it with the ladies list, and I don't like it!

It put Liza in 31st!!!!!!

And Radionova in 42nd!!!!!!

And Zijun in 50th!!!!!!

And Joshi last in 55th!!!!!! (Big sis Viktoria was 10th)

Suffice to say, I didn't bother taking out the substitutes. Which is a good thing, as it put Anna Ovcharova in 12th!!!!! (Although, it still put the actual Swiss representative, Eveline Brunner, ahead of her in 5th)

Top 3 were: Polina E, Kato and Meite, with Grm in 4th.

Top Russian was Pogo in 20th. Top American was Wagner in 24th, with Gracie in 36th.

Somehow, I think I'll stick to my normal methods! :agree:

Haha. Well, the trick is to not randomize the entire list of entries and use that for your predictions.... I chose the top two or three, and then if I couldn't decide which order for my other "top picks"... they went into the randomizer...
