Worlds Worlds Worlds..........................

Ah...so you're telling me that two of the points taken off were for falls and the other was a time issue? Interesting.

how weird is it to read 'there are also the wildcards from russia' when it comes to ice dance? LOL

LOL, it's weird to read anything about Russia being the Wildcard; but since all the "big" teams have gone, it's harder to place them. Domnina/Shabalin are a nice team, but against all of the other top rated teams, you just never know.

And in the men's, I'll stand by that the Canadians and Japanese will be racing for the rest of the podium. Joubert will most likely bring two quads for sure; three will be the clinch. In any case, most of the other men can do ONE quad, if they can do it at all. The rest of it will rest of who can do that quad, and who has the best spins/footwork/etc.

They've never been a huge threat in the ladies... save for Irina... at least I never think of ladies of Russia as dominating... Pairs and Ice Dance most definitely, and men to some extent...

Hi folks. First post here. Has anyone heard or read anything about Yu-Na's injury? Will she be at full strength for next month?

Hi, Bob, thanks for joining us!

Mums the word on Yu-na, as far as I can tell. Her back injury seems to be chronic and I haven't heard that they are planning any treatment for now except to take it easy.

I was hoping for Yu-Na to return as well! If she can't, it really will be too bad, because she's got so much talent; her being there would really make the ladies competition more interesting than it already looks like.

Now, there's also Brian Joubert to worry about. His injury is a huge affect on the possible winner at Worlds; if it affects his skating too much, other men might have a better chance at taking the title.
