Worst programs of all time

Was it Trusova's Cruella or another of her programs? She had several events that year that seem to fit your description. 🤔

LOL. I actually smiled during it! It was, pardon the pun, Le Bomb!!!
I smiled during it cuz it was so ridiculous. lol. That one was pretty on par with the Russian's Candy Man. Absolutely nothing made sense to it including their style of skating. Its like these countries try to fit in and be hip to show the world they can have fun too but ..they always miss the mark and just make it weird lol.

At least SexBomb was an exhibition. But you are so right about CandyMan. They were exquisite skaters and for the Olympics of all seasons they chose...THAT???? They were giving the gold away before the season even started. Not a good fit.

His opening pose alone made me go "wait, what is he-is he going to talk to the judges about something or... oh no. No, no no." And then laugh.
Yeah, I though that too and when I realised it was his opening pose I was like 'oh dear, that's a no-no.'

I happen to like the music (Stromae's 'Formidable') but Daniel (Martynov) looked a complete mess and skated it very sloppily.

And for pure WTF you can't beat Bobrova/Soloviev's "Birds" program... if you haven't seen it before, drop everything and watch it now, I promise you that you are not prepared for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsIrV4zVr5U
This doesn't look like the Birds program, it's 4 Seasons. I recall that they started the season with Birds and then dropped it (for good reason). I don't think the infamous Birds program is available anywhere.

Higuchi's Lion's King stuck with me forever as the worst program I had ever seen in terms of attempted packaging not fitting the skater. That tiara... to this day, I can't think of it without shuddering.

Debi Thomas Carmen. Her Olympic performance was terrible and she was never Carmen there but the truth is she was never Carmen and never tried to be Carmen.maybe it wouldn’t have mattered if Katarina witt wasn’t also doing Carmen. The whole thing turned out to be terrible

I mean obviously Katarina had the better one but I didn’t think Debbie’s would be in this thread lol

I don't know about "worst of all time", but certainly worst I'd ever seen Debi skate anything. Her program wasn't as well choreographed as Katerina's, and her performance of it just fell apart, getting helplessly worse as she went on.

The worst I've ever seen was the first time a Chinese pair showed up at World's in 1980, and that really isn't a fair judgement. They'd only seen a few pairs programs on Russian TV, which they could receive in Harbin, had no manuals and no one to demonstrate or coach, and had to learn, DIY style, in sub-zero weather outdoors. Between elements of their SP they just stroked around hand in hand and then paused now and then to do something. Their required jump combination of one edge jump and one toe jump was a small single waltz jump and a bunnyhop. To do a lift, they stopped, then (on two feet) he picked her up, waited until she stopped wobbling, and then slowly turned twice, still on two feet. The death spiral was him revolving on two feet holding her hand as he pulled her around in a circle on one foot with her looking at him but not leaning in any direction at all. Their marks, in the 6.0 era, were in the 1s and 2s. They got a nice applause and flowers, but everyone, audience and other skaters, felt so sorry for them.

This was pretty bad, watch until 3:10 or fast forward:
