Your top 5 from Canadian Nationals

So many moments to choose from.

Here are mine

1) Piper and Paul revamped programs.
2) Fée Ann Landry's gorgeous jumps
3) Gabby Daleman's epic comeback. It may not have been enough for the title and the Olympic spot but she fought hard. She is already an Olympic Champion and a world medalist. I hope she doesn't forget that !
4) LaLa's Free Dance
5) Kelly Ann and Loucas Free Program

honorable mention : Minsol Kwon holding her own in a new country and reaching the podium.

Mine is easy:

1) Lia Cho revamped free skate (no 3A attempt, just a clear focus on PCS improvements)
2) Kelly Ann and Loucas Free skate (they fought for that Olympic spot and their kiss n cry reaction of happiness)
3) LaLa RD/Free Dance
(P&P get rightful attention. But, this team is just as good and are waiting for their turn)
4) GoGo SP (that is when I knew he wanted to go to the Olympics)
5) Lia and Trentt upset in Pairs (I was shocked)

Honourable mention: Gabby and her fight for the Olympic spot. She was so close and could have gotten close had she gone for a 3Lz 2A last jumping pass instead of the 3S 2T. Her tears showed she wanted it so much. Also, Fee Ann’s first six triples in the free skate. Wow!!

1 - Maddie's free skate. It's been a struggle with it this season and she threw down when she needed to. Plus I think the red costume works better for her.
2 - Roman's free, he made me cry
3 - Gogo's free, he made me cry after Roman made me cry
4 - Lia/Trennt returning to Gladiator, it was what they needed and it got them their first title and now they're going to the Olympics
5 - David B short program, he's learning to like the short

Honourable mentions - most of the Senior Men who I didn't mention, they had a much stronger Nationals this year. It was nice to see what they could do when they're all healthy and not battling injury or illness.

So hard to pick only 5. I agree with everything mentioned above so just add to them.
1. John Kim’s clean short - all positive goes. Hope for the future.
2. All the successful quads landed by the men. I count “q”s as successful. 8 quads from 7 skaters in the short
3. All the successful triple-triples by the women. In the short 13 of 18 skaters
4. Jasmine’s beautiful throw triple loop in the free. Hurray
5. Lily and Nathen’s free dance. It gives me chills. I choose to block out the random fall. Hope they get due credit at 4CCs
6. My bonus top 5 is the audience at Gatineau. They were amazing and supportive. and I am sure very appreciated by the skaters.

• Lia and Trent's FS (I love Gladiator)

• Marjorie and Zachary's White Crow FD
• Piper and Paul's re-imagined Vincent

I do want to give some honourable mentions as well: Roman's FS (he really moved me) as well as Gabby's FS - so moving to see her back at this level even if it wasn't enough for the OG spot.

Katelyn’s top moment was Maddie winning Nationals

Asher’s top moment was Lia Cho.

At the end, Kaetlyn mentioned Lia is working on the 3A (which we already know), but, that she was also practicing a 4S during practice at Nationals.
Is this true??? Wow!! My ice Princess truly wants to be Queen and is really working hard for her JGP debut next season
