i was a very proud fan when I saw that.
 
Everyone's on fire for the short program but noone beats the sass and fire of Yuna's James Bond SP. ;)

ETA: Also, just realized Yuna scored 76 here as well. Now this is a 76 pts program ;)

What will Yuna do at the Pyeongchang opening ceremony? Is it too early for details? Anyone know?

Midori Ito lighted the flame in Nagano and it would be amazing to have another Figure Skater light the flame for Winter Olympics. Good for the sport.

it will be too obvious. :laugh: but maybe similar to london? young athletes instead? who knows

I hope Yuna carries the torch or skates a beautiful program in the opening or closing ceremony. One can dream. :)))

Remember this short movie with James Bond and the Queen at the beginning of the opening of the London Olympics. Somehow I don't think that she'll "only" light the Olympic fire.
 
Yuna's FS WR is finally broken...at least it was only by 0.04. Not saying I agree with Evgenia's score though. However, on the bright side, she still holds the WR for the total. And she also has the best record ever: never finishing off the podium even once in her career. And that's a WR that merely scores cannot prove. Yuna's overall skating style and quality proves that it is deserved.

If it were up to me, I'll have a performance with the flame on ice at the beginning of the ceremony. And then fluff in the middle and then she can light the fire. :D

She has 4 clean and strong performances at the Olympics. How many skaters can say that? She'll be forever remembered for her huge mental strength (keeping it together when she needed it most).
 
regret that I get to know Yuna too late, if I can watch Yuna live from her senior debut "Lark ascending"......
