There he goes again. Yuzu and his ambitions... quad loop hasn't been ratified yet, I don't think - only the 4lz is ratified, am I right? sighs. This kid is going to hurt himself for sure before Pyeongchang...

Haha, yeah so far only the S,T,and Lutz has been ratified. I think he's going to be fine, he's said many times over that he's going to put his health at a priority and I trust he knows his limits.
As for embarrassing himself, I think he puts entertaining the audience (giving them their money's worth) above all else+he just loves to jump 
and the skaters there have all done far more embarrassing things at these shows 
Part of the fun is to not take one self so seriously all the time, and now's as good time as any to do a trial run in front of a crowd~

Reading the posts from audience of SSOI Sapporo last night is quite pleasant.
A woman observed Yuzu’ fever penetrating all-range fans, no matter the sex and age. She mentioned an aged, elegant auntie sitting in front keeping calmly all the time till Yuzu showed up. And then, she waved and cheered excitedly.
Another one commented that Yuzu is a hot “topic” between audience even they are strangers. After show, the bus and metro were crowded. All talked about this fantastic boy, his performance, gestures, smile face, speed, power and jumps of course. Yuzu’ name is non-stopping in the air.
Among a young couple, the man extremely excitedly explained the jumps Yuzu did to his girlfriend. Some other men around happily joined the discussion with them.
What a wonderful world! Bring the joy to the people who admire him. Go ahead and take care yourself, Yuzu.

^ Thanks for that heartwarming report echotpe. It is good to know the Sapporo audience appreciates Yuzuru.
I also see that dynamic of Yuzuru being a source of joy to many people from different backgrounds in this thread.
Yesterday I said nothing special happened at the show. I was wrong.
I cannot say I'm surprised. Seems like wanting him to stop working on new quads (because of the possibility of injury) is like telling a squirrel not to climb trees, lol!

also 4L has almost no preparation, it's umbelievable!
Looking at this attempt I think he already has landed this quad loop few times in practice. Rotation was nicely executed in terms of speed, just few centimeters more on height and it would be landed here nicely
