I really respect Yuzuru because he never plays safe in real life too… this year he visited Tomioka city and focused the attention (internationally) on a very controversial and painful aspect of it ,if not the most controversial one, which is the heavy social and economic consequences of the nuclear disaster.
Not just a walk to say hello to people. Guts are necessary to behave like that and probably this is what Yuzuru means when he says he wants to return all the support he had/has from the affected area.
Retrospectively, now we know he went to Toronto and faced a double 13- hour time difference/ jet lag in a very short period of time not to train but to talk in a press conference about his SP , competitions and new season.
He could have easily pre-registered Hana Ni Nare performance and played it safe, but no , he was immediately back because he had a more important job to do in Japan.

I myself haven’t watched the TV channel recently, so I don't remember it well though, it is carried out by one lady announcer and one regular caster(he is a J-POP star). The biggest part is, in this talk, viewers can send fax and email to the broadcast during the program. The fax includes some messages(sometimes hand-written pictures!), questions towards the guest. They pick up some of them in the talk. Of course, about yuzu, tons of fax messages must come. It’s sure everyone is making detailed one so that it can be taken in the talk(lol).

Yeah, but camera work was too horrible.. They are not at all used to the air of figure skate..

Yeah! It's as bad if not worse than the camera work at Kobe perf > < I keep using my hand to shift the camera position > < I just hope they would hire a sports cameraman for that slot at least.

Yeah, further, the great performances were blocked again and again. It really annoyed me.
The last year was much better. At least they aired the whole of his performance.

I hate to complain about something I'm watching for free, but the camera work
I may be remembering wrong, but wasn't there a follow up program last year where they re-showed him skating to R&J? I can't remember if it was a different camera angle, but tonight's camera work was too horrible that I was (wishfully) thinking they must be planning to show us the proper version next week. I think tonight's show was focusing on too many things at once (Yuzuru, the audience, the chorus, the singer) and ended up a disaster. But then, it wasn't live so maybe that was the best they could offer…

People in the audience said that Inohara-san was very nice to Yuzuru and Seto-san (the swimmer) making sure that they didn't feel out of place

Assuming profiles are accurate, Inocchi is supposingly 174cm. If this is true, I think it's safe to say that Yuzu is still about 171cm.


EDIT! Just noticed in another video that Inocchi is wearing boots with a bit of a heel. *sigh* so the mystery continues...

I’m speechless about Requiem , it’s even too emotional to handle , I can’t even imagine what it means for Japanese people, while it seemed everybody in the rink was singing Hana Ni Nare and Yuzuru’s smile at the end was totally melting , he looked sooo happy !
